Luke 12:8-9

John 14:11-12

and the Father is in
me; or at least believe
on the evidence of the
works themselves.
Very truly I tell you,
whoever believes in
me will do the works I
have been doing, and
they will do even
greater things than
these, because I am
going to the Father.

St Olivia of Palermo
She had a very strong
belief in God. It was so
strong that she risked her
life everyday by converting
Muslims into Christians.
Her family supported the
Christian faith and way of
living so that is what she
believed as well. She
knew what she believed in
and wasn't afraid of
spreading the good news.
As she got older her faith
grew along with her and
she always stated or did
whatever she thought was
right. She grew up into a
very faithful family which
led her to have a very
strong faith in God. She
was also known to have
good Christian morals.

Lives of the Saints

Saint Teresa
At seven years, she ran
away from her home at
Avila in Spain, in the hope
of being martyred by the
Moors. Being brought back
and asked the reason of
her flight, she replied, "I
want to see God, and I
must die before I can see
Him." She then began with
her brother to build a
hermitage in the garden,
and was often heard
repeating"Forever,
forever". In her thirty-first
year, she gave herself
wholly to God. A vision
showed her the very place
in hell to which her own
light faults would have led
her, she lived ever after in
the deepest distrust of self.

St. Thomas Aquinas

By universal consent, Thomas
Aquinas is the preeminent
spokesman of the Catholic
tradition of reason and of
divine revelation. He is one of
the great teachers of the
medieval Catholic Church,
honored with the titles Doctor
of the Church and Angelic
Doctor.
His greatest contribution to the
Catholic Church is his
writings. The unity, harmony
and continuity of faith and
reason, of revealed and
natural human knowledge,
pervade his writings. But he
was broad enough, deep
enough, to see the whole
natural order as coming from
God the Creator, and to see
reason as a divine gift to be
highly cherished.
