The Wordle covers the life of a plant as well as the journey a seed takes before it

grows into a plant. My Wordle focuses on the vocabulary that is used in the two books I
read. Many of these words are ones that we use in our daily lives but are a crucial part of
a plant or seeds life. However, some of these words are words that are very specific to
the plant species. Those words are the words that would have to be discussed in a preread or before reading activity.

The two books I chose for my Wordle are A Seed is Sleepy and Big Yellow
Sunflower. They both discuss the topic of plants and flowers. They are similar because
they both start out as a seed. Both of these books are very interactive. This lends itself to
elementary school because these students tend to enjoy hands on, interactive learning.
These books will enhance a science lesson.
These two books are also different. They are different because A Seed is Sleepy
focuses only on the seed. This can discuss the process of how seed are spread and where
they settle. The book Big Yellow Sunflower discusses the entire process of a seed growing
into a flower. This book can be used in a lesson about photosynthesis and the process.
You could also conduct an experiment about growing your own sunflowers.
