Greetings,
My name is Chanisha L. Allen. I
graduated in 2011 from Randolph
Clay High School located in Cuthbert,
GA. During high school, I was a
member of beta club, journalism,
cheerleading team, and volleyball
team. I attended Valdosta State
University for my first three years of
college
before
transferring
to
Georgia
Southwestern
State
University. During my time at Georgia
Southwestern State University, I
majored in psychology with a minor

The purpose of this newsletter is


to keep the students and parents
updated with weekly events
going on inside the classroom,
which will help them stay
informed when outside of the
classroom. This is a psychology
course that focus on the
development, structure, and
function of biological systems
and their role on behavior,
cognition, and emotion. This
newsletter also gives an oversite
on whats expected from the
students and supplies that will be
used throughout this course. Also
provided below are helpful
studying tips, test taking tips,
and links for preparing for
everything this course has to
offer.

Future Classroom
Project
The Brain Model/Hat
Students will be allowed two week to
construct there own model of a brain
highlighting the brains four lobes:
frontal,
parietal,
occipital,
and
temporal. They will be asked to bring
their model to school where they would
then explaining each lobes function(s).

Get a good nights rest.


Read chapter the night before
class.
Take good notes.
Ask questions when in doubt.
Study for an hour or more
every night using index cards
and other helpful notes.

Helpful Tips During


Test
Relax and remain calm
Read questions thoroughly.
Read ALL answer choices.
Mark out answers that does not
sound correct.
