What do pupils know

about triangles?

Group Instruction:
Vocab:
- I will provide pupils with a chart that they can
paste/keep in their notes
- The chart will have sections for the shapes name,
number of sides, 2-D or 3-D, and an image to be
drawn.
- We will work through the chart as a group
- Pupils will first try to identify each shape
- We will then move on to identify the types of angles
in the shapes, the number of sides, and other
important information.
- I will have pupils add a few more vocabulary words to
their original vocabulary sheet.
o Face
o Edge
o Vertex
- If there is time left over, we will create a family tree
with the shapes we identified
- Pupils will then have the chance to move on to their
homework sheet
Exit Ticket:
- Introduce new homework
- Pupils must put it in their planner before they can
leave.
- **Pupils must bring a protractor for tomorrow**
