1. PUBLISHING PROCESS OVERVIEW

After making registration in our website and providing sample chapters, you will get Publishing Proposal,
if it is approved. Once you get a proposal, you may make the payment of publishing charges as mentioned
in it and fill After Payment Form (APF): www.educreation.in/apf/
After receiving APF, we will confirm it within 72 hours and will ask you to submit manuscript and other
inputs for your book through our Publishing Input Form (PIF). Inputs of PIF once submit cannot be
changed, so please take utmost care while filling it. You may take help of our Support Team by email or
phone call during filling it, if required. We require Manuscripts as Single MS Word file only. For Hindi
Books it must be in Kruti Dev 010. If your system doesnt have Hindi fonts you can get it from here:
Install Fonts You can convert Unicode Text to Kruti Dev 010 here: Font Convertor
Never copy any content from other websites/ books/ blogs and use it on your manuscript as these all
could cause you to copyright infringement issues in future. The best way to use contents from other
sources is to read and rewrite it in your own language. You must place all contents like dedication,
prologue/ preface, contents list, epilogue/ reference, tables, images, etc. inside your MS word file on the
same place where you want it to be present on final book, so that it is processed correctly. For images,
you must use your own developed sketches or images or illustrations; never directly copy it from Google
or other sites, as it may results to proceedings of copyright infringement by laws at later stage. If you are
not able to develop image on your own, you may get it purchased from Shutterstock.com. You may also
use images from wikipedia.org mentioning credit links. You must place all contents like dedication,
preface, contents list, tables, images, etc. inside your MS word file on the same place where you want it to
be present on final book, so that it is processed correctly.
While filling PIF you will require selecting an interior sample from our Book Store the template of which
will be used for designing your book. For cover page image you will have an option of making selection
either from our free image library or from shutterstock.com as per package. After receiving inputs
publishing process will start. You will be shared with designed interior MS Word file and designed cover
pages. We support only limited fonts for interior typesetting because of our printing plants allocation to
different countries. You will be eligible to make changes in designed interior MS Word file yourself and
submit final MS Word file to us for further printing and distribution. Selling price of print and eBook will
be fixed in this stage only.
After receiving MRP and revised interior, we will share the final POD file with you one more time to find
that all things are as desired and will ask you to make remaining Second Part Payment (if any). After
receiving Second Payment (if any), your book will be forwarded for printing and distribution to
worldwide platforms as print and eBook.
Pre-order support will also be provided for your book once it will be on distribution stage.
Complimentary copies will also be shipped to you. You will also get social media account setups for your
book promotion. Once your book is completely published and live, you will be granted an access of
author dashboard. You will get an update and payment of Royalty on Monthly Cycle paid by National

Electronic Fund Transfer to authors Indian Bank Account only. For any support or information, you will
have an option to reach author support by your dashboard or phone call.

2. MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION POLICIES

You must submit your manuscript in one go (in a single time) through Publishing Input Form (PIF). In
case, you want to make any changes in it you can do so, once we share the finalized designed interior MS
Word file to you for review.
You will require resubmitting the designed file to us for final printing and distribution. If you manuscript
is in Hindi, it must be in Kruti Dev 010. You may convert Unicode Text (Mangal, Arial Unicode) to Kruti
Dev 010 from here: http://rajbhasha.net/drupal514/unikrutidev+converter/ If your computer system does
not have Hindi Fonts, you can download and install fonts from here:

2.1. Manuscript Organization

Check and ensure that your manuscript is organized in a same way as you want your final book to be and
include all sections, chapters, in the same sequence as you want it to appear on book. If you want content
table to be included made the same on your book. You may leave page numbers blank, which will be
filled by our designers later. Include all images, tables, etc. on the same place where you want it to be
appeared on book.

2.2. Legal Guidelines for Submission

About Images: Mostly authors want to place images in their book interior, but they make a mistake of
using images directly from search engines like Google, but this could authors to get obstacles from
Copyright Proceedings in Future and they can find legal issues and complications. The best way to
include illustration or image is that, you must develop sketch or illustration on your own or else use
library like www.shutterstock.com from where you can purchase the images with valid license and can
place it on your book. You may use images from sources like Wikipedia.org by checking their license
and giving proper attribution.
About Content: All content of your book must be your own indigenous developed. If you had copied any
content of your book from Internet Source, you could be penalized for copyright infringement. The best
way of using any content from is that in place of directly copying it, use the same in your own words.
Once the manuscript is locked and assigned for interior designing, we don't allow any change in any form
(addition, deletion, etc.). All such requests are subjected to additional payment. So authors are suggested
to ensure that their manuscript is complete before final submission.

3. BOOK DESIGNING PROCESS:

3.1. Interior Designing
For interior designing you will require to submit us a manuscript in MS Word file and select a sample
book from our store, the template of the same will be used for your book. We will collect this ad all other
inputs through PIF. In interior designing we setup all parameters of your book interior, which includes
right from page setting, title formatting, indentation, margin, font selection and all other aspects as per
selected sample.
We support only limited number of fonts in book interior due to limitation of allocation of printing plants
in different countries. You can find list of compatible fonts and can install it from here:

3.2. Cover Designing

As per package option, you will require selecting cover image either from our free public domain image
library or from shutterstock.com, you will require to provide us the image URL or ID through our
Publishing Input Form (PIF) along with title, author name, back cover text, author photo, back cover
email etc. The detail that you provide in PIF will be used for cover page preparation.
Presently, we dont support any customization on cover pages. However if you need completely
customized cover, we can suggest our sister concerns digital development designing companies that may
help you in customized cover development.

4. EDITING - Value Added Service

The payment of editing is mandatory to be done with First Part Payment. If you had opted for Editing
Process. the editing of your manuscript will be done prior to the collect of other inputs. For authors opted
for Editing, in place of PIF, they are asked to fill firstly Editing Input Form (EIF). You will require to
upload your manuscript in EIF.
After receiving EIF, we will send you a sample 4-5 pages editing as a PDF highlighting the changes made
while editing. You will require to review the sample and approve editing. Your approval marks the fact
that you are agree with the quality and consistency and after your approval of sample you cannot cancel
the project and seek refund.
Once the editing will be done, we will share two files, one will be the PDF highlighting the changes and
another one will be edited MS Word file for your review purpose. You will require uploading the final
MS Word file from your end in Publishing Input Form (PIF) for proceeding further.

5. OTHER - Value Added Services

All other value added services are provided either by Educreation or partners using standard templates.
We do not support any customization request on any of these services.

5.1. Website Designing Process

We provide basic HTML 5.0 template based site. You will require providing us the domain name and
selection of sample template in Website Input Form. We will use seller description content of your book
in developing website pages. We dont provide any customization request on website, except blog feature.
Websites are hosted on shared servers and no any FTP login or account is shared with authors.

5.2. Trailer Development Process

We will ask you to submit Video Trailer Input Form in which you will require to provide us caption text
for up to 7 slides. We will use these caption text for building video trailers. Images and music will be
used by our team at their discretion. We do not support any customization request in it.

5.3. Promotion Kit Process

We provide you with the visiting cards and poster services through our partner, vistaprint.in. The standard
template of visiting cards and posters are used for it. Address, email and mobile that you registered on PIF
for customer details will be used in Visiting Cards. Posters are 11x18 inch posters. We supply 100
visiting cards and 5 posters with all packages. We do not support any customization request in it.

6. Post Publishing Support

Once your book will be published you may seek any support directly from your author dashboard by
creating a ticket or by calling us on 011-3079-7373 during working hours.

Royalty Remuneration
Sales details are updated in author dashboard on monthly basis and payment of royalty is done after
reaching minimum threshold of Rs.1,000. Royalty is paid by National Electronic Fund Transfer to
authors Indian Bank A/Cs only.

Author Copies
Author may order additional copies at production cost + taxes + shipping. The minimum order of such
quantity is 30 copies. However there is also a provision of ordering less quantity of copies by paying
additional processing charges. Complete advance payment is required for author copies order. Printing of
books may take 3-4 working days for quantity less than 20 and 5-7 working days for orders if more than
it. Shipping time will be additional to the printing time. We can ship your books only by Speed Post or
Courier partner; we don't allow direct pickups from printing plant or any other mode. On an average up to
Rs.20 per copy may be applicable as shipping cost on order of 30 copies. Per copy shipping cost may
increase for ordering copies less than it.
