Use
Inthe ConnectedPortals table(technicalname:RSPOR_T_PORTAL),youmakevariousportalserver
settings.

Note
Thetableisfullybuffered.Afterthistablehasbeenmaintained,thetablebufferhastobeinitializedonthe
BWsystemapplicationservers.ThiscanbedoneintheSAPGUIwith /$tab .

Caution
Ifyoudonotmaintainthistable,thecorrespondingmenuentriesforpublishinginBExWebApplication
DesignerandBExQueryDesigneraredeactivated.

Procedure
1.Startthetransaction TableViewMaintenance (transactionSM30).
2.EnterRSPOR_T_PORTALasthetable.
3.Choose Maintain .
4.Tocreateanewentry,choose NewEntries .
5.Maintaintheconnectedportal:

ForInformationBroadcasting,youneedtomaintainthe StandardPortal , URLPrefix and KM
MetadataRepositoryManagerPrefix fields.TheBExBroadcasterrequiresthisinformationinorderto
offerinputhelpfortheKnowledgeManagementfolders.TheprefixoftheBWMetadataRepository
ManagerisrequiredforstoringonlinelinkstoqueriesorBExWebapplicationsinKnowledge
Management.Thesefieldsarenotrequiredforotherapplicationcases.

parameter):
1.OntheSAPEasyAccessscreen,choose System UserProfile OwnData .
2.Onthe Parameter tabpage,enterparameterID RSPOR_DEFAULT_PORTAL andthe
correspondingparametervalue.TheparametervalueisthenameoftheRFCdestinationfrom
the ConnectedPortals table.
URLPrefix :<PORTAL_URL_PREFIX>
ThefieldcontainstheURLtotheportal,includingtheprotocol,hostnameandport.Forexample,
http://<portalserver><domain>:<port>
KMMetadataRepositoryManagerPrefix :<KM_RM_METADATA_PREFIX>
Thisprefix(forexample,/bw_metadata)issetwhentheRepositoryManagerisconfigured.

asthestandardfont,enterthefilesystempathtothefoldercontainingtherequiredTrueTypefonts

UseHTTPSforAdobe(PDF)
SelectthisfieldifyouwanttouseAdobeDocumentServicesinsteadoftheExportLibraryforSAP
NetWeaverBWandyouwanttousethehttpstransferprotocolforcommunicationbetweenthe
applicationserverandAdobeDocumentServices.
