here in Australia.

Management
GWA Group Limited Chief Executive is Mr. Peter Crowley but is referred to as the
Managing Director. Crowley. Expertise: Broad manufacturing experience in Australia
and overseas.
During the 1980s Peter held various roles with Queensland Cement Limited and its
parent company Holderbank culminating in General Management responsibilities
within Australia and South-East Asia. Duringhe 1990s Peter had the role of Chief
Executive with Cockburn Cement Limited which was a (a subsidiary of The Rugby
Group PLC). As Chief executive at Cockburn Cement, Peter, lead them to be to the
biggest cement producer in Western Australia and Australias biggest lime producer.
In 1999, Peter was appointed an Executive Director, Cement and Lime, the Rugby
Group PLC, a UK Public Company with extensive international cement operations.
During this period he also served as a director of Adelaide Brighton Limited. In 2001
he was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive, Austrim Nylex Limited, a
diversified industrial company.
The Chairman of the board GWA Group Limited is Mr. Darryl McDonough whose
official title is Independent Chairman and Non-Executive Director an industry expert
with more than 25 years of successful experience as a public company director and
lawyer. As a director Darryl McDonough has a proven ability to foster business
relationships. He has been involved with a number of public companies in the past
including Bank of Queensland Limited, Super Retail Group Limited and is a PastPresident of The Australian Institute of Company Directors, Queensland Division.

GWA Group Limited supplies household and commercial fixtures and fittings. GWA
trade in new residential dwellings, renovations, replacement and commercial
markets in Australia, New Zealand and selected international markets.
The company operates through the following business divisions:

Bathrooms & Kitchens:


Product range includes, urinals, basins, bathroom fittings, spas, shower & bath
accessories, tapware, stainless steel sinks, gas, solar and electric hot water systems
and toilet suites
Brands include Caroma, Fowler, Stylus, Clark, Radiant, Dorf, Irwell, Starion, Hansa,
Virtu, Dux, Radiant and ecosmart Solar. Distribution brands include: Hansa, Schell,
EMCO, Virtu, Sanitron.
Heating & Cooling:
Climate control systems - products include ducted gas furnaces, evaporative
coolers and refrigeration based heating & cooling systems. GWA Group Limited
brands are Brivis and APAC.

Door & Access Systems:


GWA Door & Access Systems are a leading Australian designer, manufacturer,
importer and distributor of a comprehensive range of access and security systems
for use in residential and commercial premises. The division comprises three
businesses:

Door hardware - product range includes door lock, handles & closers, hinges
and related accessories.

Access systems - the company offers a range of automatic & gate operators,
rollers doors, sectional overhead doors, roller shutters, tilt & specialty doors,
garage storage & accessories.
Locksmiths which is a national supplier of security and access control systems
and lock smithing services to major commercial enterprises.

Brands include Gainsborough, Trilock, Renovator, Matadoe, Gliderol, Austral Lock,


Eco Schulte and Hilaldam.

Company History
GWA Group Limited (GWA) was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 20 May
1993, and comprised the business divisions of Caroma, Sebel, Rover, T H Martin and
Poolrite.
These businesses were previously owned by Queenslands Anderson family who
privatised the former public company, GWA Limited, in 1989.
GWA has grown significantly since listing through the growth of its businesses as
well as through acquisitions. The following is a history of the acquisitions and
divestments of the Group since listing:

1995
Gainsborough Hardware Industries Limited was acquired in June and has become a
market leader offering a comprehensive range of door security products and door
handles.
1996
The T H Martin business was sold in September.
1997
GWA acquired the James Hardie Bathroom Products Division in March. As a result,
Fowler sanitaryware, Irwell taps and Dux hot water systems were added to the
Groups range of products.
1999
Poolrite Equipment Pty Ltd was sold in June.
GWA acquired the Email Kitchen and Bathroom Products Division in March the
purchase included the brands of Clark stainless steel sinks and Dorf tapware.
Wisa Beheer BV of the Netherlands was acquired in June. Wisa designs and produces
cisterns and plastic bathroom products. Wisa operates in the Netherlands and
Germany.

2001
The Stylus Bathroom and Kitchen Products business was acquired in March. The
Stylus range of products includes baths, spa baths, sanitaryware
2009
Austral Lock was acquired in January. Austral Lock is a leading Australian
manufacturer of locks for the residential security door and patio door markets.

2010
Brivis was acquired in April. Brivis is a leading Australian designer, manufacturer
and distributor of ducted climate systems for the residential market.
The Rover Mowers business was sold in April.
The Wisa Beheer business was sold in May.
2011
The Australian garage door and opener business of Gliderol was acquired in January.
Gliderol is a leading manufacturer and distributor of garage doors and openers for
the residential and commercial markets.
The Sebel Commercial Furniture business was sold in September.
The Caroma North America business was sold in December.
2012
API Locksmiths was acquired in October. API is a supplier of safes, locks, alarms and
locksmithing services to major commercial enterprises.
2014
In December Dux Hot Water business was sold.
2015
Brivis Climate Systems business was sold in February.
Gliderol Garage Doors business was sold in July.
