Introduction
Nowadays, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) occupies an important part in vast spectrum of real-world applications
ranging from healthcare systems, agriculture, environmental monitoring and entertainment to cyber security and military.
Wireless sensor networks provide outstanding opportunities in which large-scale complex problems are solved via
distribution of simple, low-power and mutually connected sensors. Due to remarkable outcomes in the area of wireless
sensor networks, solving WSN related problems is much needed along with extending the applications of these
distributed systems. The next generation of Internet is foreseen to be the "Internet of Things (IoT)", which means a worldwide network of interconnected objects and their virtual representations uniquely addressable based on standard
communication protocols. Identified by a unique address, any object, including computers, mobile phones, RFID tagged
devices, and especially Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), will be able to dynamically join the network, collaborate and
cooperate efficiently to achieve different tasks.
