Redevelopment of old Government housing colonies has been identified
as one of the strategies to overcome housing shortage.

Organic Waste Converter equipments of 1.5 tonne capacity for converting

Pallet Making Machine for converting horticultural waste into fuel pellets has also
been installed.

The pellets are used as fuel and compost is used for horticulture purpose.

Approx. 2500 sq. ft. covered finished shed for plant & 1500 sq. ft. covered finished
shed for segregation have been provided.

Use

Treated water is used for irrigation purpose


through pipe network laid in the whole campus.
Sludge cakes are used as manure with in the
complex.

Monitoring

Laboratory has been set up in the complex and on


daily basis monitoring of BOD, COD, TSS and pH of
treated water is being done.
