Method Used
Research Methodology is the process of collecting data and information
so people can repeat my research. To carry out this research, we used the
questionnaire method. The survey was conducted among 15 people. Ages
ranged between 10 and 41, both females and males were asked randomly.
The questionnaire contained a total of 5 quantitative questions. We handed
out the surveys at schools to both teachers and students.
Finding from the questionnaire
We had all 15 questionnaires returned. All the people responding were
between the ages of 10 41. The graph (graph. 1) below shows the
percentage of the 15 people that have, at least once, owned either a
Samsung or Blackberry phone. The number of people that have once owned
either a Samsung or Blackberry phone (80%) was greater than those who
have never owned a Samsung or Blackberry phone (20%).
Have you ever owned either a Samsung or Blackberry phone?

Satisfaction
Samsung users:
Samsung users were asked to rate the price, design and build, display,
camera, and battery life of their phone. Strikingly, (100%) of the respondents
gave their phones camera a 5/5, as shown in graph.2. Also, 60% of the
respondents rated both their phones display and design and build 5/5.
However, 60% of the respondents were not really satisfied with their phones
price giving it a 3/5

Blackberry users:
Blackberry users were also asked to rate their phones display, design and
build, camera, and battery life. Surprisingly, more than half of the
respondents (71.4%) gave their phones design and build a 5/5, as shown
in graph.4. Display was also highly rated, as (57.1%) of the respondents
gave another 5/5 for their phones display. What was quite interesting, is the
fact that (42.8%) of the respondents rated their phones batter life 2/5.

Samsung users in general were satisfied with their phones features. When
asked, 80% of Samsung users recommended their phone, while only 20% did
not recommend it, shown in graph.6. On the other hand, Blackberry users
were not as satisfied as Samsung users. Graph.7 shows that 57.1% of
Blackberry users did NOT recommend their phone, and 42.5% did
recommend their phone.

Summary
Although the results show that Blackberry users are not very pleased
with their phones functionality and usability, 43% of them would still buy
Blackberry phones, as well as recommend their phones to their friends and
families.
Similarly, Samsung users proved to be very pleased with their phones
features, where 100% of the respondents highly rated their phones camera
performance. However, only a few (20.0%) of them would have rather
bought a Blackberry phone instead of a Samsung phone.
Recommendations
As mentioned earlier, Blackberry has been going downhill for a while now;
this has also showed in my results, as 57% of Blackberry users would rather
buy a Samsung phone instead Of a Blackberry phone. I believe this could be
for the lack of improvement and enhancement Blackberry brings to its
phones. There is nothing much that makes Blackberry special anymore.
Blackberry has to come up with something creative and innovative to regain
its competition in the market. As for Samsung, they are pretty much moving
on the right track, except some minor changes including, improving battery
life, and enhancing speed and functionality.
