Introduction: -Focus of the day: Passing
Patterns
-Start and Stop Signals: Start: two whistles.
Stop: one whistle, equipment down, eyes on
T
-Safety: Only throw when receiver is
looking. Keep your head up and watch out
for other groups.
-Review/refining: throwing and catching
Throwing: -Pinky and ring finger on laces,
other fingers towards the back, -side to
target, -arm up and back near ear, -step
with opposite foot and release just in front
of the body, -follow through and snap wrist
down.
Catching: -Eyes on the ball, -hands up and
open (diamond), -pull ball in towards chest.
Transition: Find a group of 3. 1 S/group get
a football. Move to open space on field.
Warm-up: -Pass and catch stationary with
group
Pass and catch on the move when ready.
