the teacher needs to reflect on the following questions:

Did most of the students seem excited about and engaged during the presentation and
assignment?

ASSURE Lesson Plan 3

Yes, student was very engaged during instruction and completion of assignment. The
demonstration-performance method and pausing after instruction of each objective kept
student alert and interested in the lesson. The online video tutorials offered a different
perspective and more insight into the assignment. Student was able to complete the assignment
with 100% success.
Reflection on lesson overall (this area should include your thoughts, comments, ideas,
including how the lesson went, what did your students think, what did you think of the
lesson, would you change anything for the next time you teach/instruct this lesson, i.e.)
I thought the lesson went fantastic. I had just recently learned how to use basic functions of
Prezi myself and was eager to share the knowledge. The student was quick to learn and was
able to successfully complete all of the objectives without difficulty. Student has also moved
beyond the basic instructions taught and has advanced her knowledge using the online
tutorials. Student was excited to add to her knowledge of presentation software and the
benefits over Microsoft PowerPoint.
The next time I teach the lesson I would like to have a projector, it was difficult instructing
while sitting side-by-side at a small desk.
