Point of View

flames not ever. Brians story plain and simple. The
third person narrator who tells the story has access to
brians deepest thoughts and feelings, he would
need a large wood pile.

Problem & Solution

A problem brian had was when a tornado hit his camp

site.and the solution is he said he would rebuild his
home when light come out.

Characterization

In the beginning of the book brian was all scared and

yelled and didn't know what to do half of the
time.then know in the end of the book brian has
changed to a new person.he is calm and positive now
and knows what to do when something happens or if
anything happens and he is also brave enough to do
things he couldnt do.

Theme

Brian successfully built a shelter in the forest with

little a bit of supplies.then he made a fire without
matches or without gasoline. And then brian made a
weapon to hunt with. And last is he made a raft,while
catching fish.

Chapter 3 Assignment: My thought about brain is unreasonable because he

didn't know what he was supposed to do.Also because he did call for help at the
time before the plane crashed. So thats why I thought he was unreasonable.Then
my reaction to his thoughts are that Brians thoughts were going to die , Brian
thought, going to die,gonna die, and then I knew right then that something was
going to happen.

Meanings

Brians head hurts as if he just ran into a

Chapter 5 Assignment:Positive Thinking

Many people believe that if they have a positive attitude, good things
will happen.They believe that people with negative attitudes somehow
prevent good things from happening. Write an editorial in which you support
the power of positive thinking. Use Brians experience as an example of
how positive thinking can help people. At the conclusion of your editorial,
encourage people to adopt positive thoughts and to see what happens.
I think showing positive thinking is when you are in a good mood and
have a strong and working attitude to others but in a nice way and everyone
say that I have a good attitude and I show that I care.also brians old teacher
always said show positive thinking to others.brians teacher mr.perpich said
stop messing around and get motivated to do something and his teacher
would always roll and say you are most valuable asset.dont forget that you
are the best thing ever.
Chapter 6 Assignment: brian had a flashback. about when he had turkey for
thanksgiving last year. It was when brians dad was cooking on the grill turkey with
barbecue over it.then his dad opened the grill and it smelled like hickory smoke.
That filled up the back yard. And that hurts brian because he wants real food and he
is starving.

Chapter 8 Assignment:i had a dream and it was a scary dream and it was me
and my mom at a old adapted house and me and my mom were going to pass by it
until I wanted to go inside there. So my mom said yes we can and in we went.then
we were looking in the living room and then we heard a little step behind us and
then I turn around and nothing was there. And so we went up stairs and a door
slam shut and then I turned around and my mom was gone and then for real life I
slept walk to the end of the stair and yelled mommy in a packing voice and then I
cried and then I went back to bed and slept good.

I would put myself in a zombie apocalypse because it would be cool
and ex shortney.also it would be out of my mind.
And it change me because the way I am now I am more playful and
kind but I would change because I would be more active and I could do more
things like build things explore more and it would be more danger and then I
have to find things on my and survive on my own and try to stay alive by
myself only if I see my friend avery there then I would have someone but
other than that why it would change me and how I am now.
My survival things would be a knife, crossbow , food, clothes ,bullets,
military tank, bullet proof vest, bombs, lantern, locks, rope, gun.

Dear Mom,
Hi mom sorry I havent wrote to you in a little while. Its because I am sounded on a
island and I am waiting to get rescued by someone.I have been here for a long time.
Ever since that plane crash happened.But Im ok. So I was wondering how you doing
at home. Oh and is dad still living there with you.oh mom UI was wondering why do
you like that guy and I also dont want to tell dad about this pk we have to keep this
a secret. Because if he finds out he will freak out. But
I dont know why dont want to be with dad anymore. He was a great person and
you and him had great experiences together. But you are going to have a miserable
lives each other mom. Why would you do this to dad. But I am ok and maybe
another plan will come back another day or soon and see me or if I try and make a
single where they can see then they can rescue me .also i have food to which is
raspberries and berries and I do have shelter you get this please write back to me I
love and miss you mom. Be safe.

Chapter 14 Assignment: my invention is the caseit. It can do anything it has

clothes and food and weapons and stuff to make a shelter. I made it up and this is

my invention.it will help brian for surviaving in the woods. It has thing to keep him
warm and safe.and it is a case that you press a button on the handle and it pops
open and then it talks and gives you what you asked for.and it helps you find things
and where it is at.it also gives you directions on where to go at.and this can help
brian because it has things to keep him warm and safe and it has things to build a
shelter and it has food to keep you health and water and drinks to keep you
hidrated and it has weapons to keep you safe like I said and to cut thing for a
shelter and more it also has spoons and forks and plates cups and napkins and all
that other stuff for survial.so this is my invention I made up and created.

things to help him and then he cold if he has a gps he could find his way
back with that gps.
