P 157 He got hit by a tornado and every one got destroyed in

his camp and there was nothing left. So what he did is get all
the supplies to rebuild.

Characterization

So the way brian changed is that he is more of a problem

solver. So the way that he is a problem solver is like in the
book his first way to get into the plane did not work so he just
found a different way. That is one way that he is a problem
solver.

Theme

So one theme I want to say is. Landing a crashing plane in

the water. The reason why I like that is really hard in real life.

Chapter 3 Assignment: How did you react to Brians thoughts and actions? Do you think that
he is sensible or unreasonable? Explain your answer.
So what reacted to is that I new he will not just give up and die on page 28. The next thing I
thought is I new he would get hurt because he jump out a plane so I knew he would get hurt on
page 29-30. The next thing I thought was surprising is he survived the big bug group and I
thought he was going to the the closest he ever got to death on page 27 . Almost done so I

thought he was going to save the pilot but brian did not save him on 28. The last thing I thought
is he will lose his hatchet because of the big plane crash page 20.
Chapter 4 Assignment: Write 5 similes about Brians current state and explain their meaning.

Meanings

Brian head hurts so much like he died.

It hurts really bad.

Chapter 5 Assignment:Positive Thinking

Many people believe that if they have a positive attitude, good things will happen.They believe
that people with negative attitudes somehow prevent good things from happening. Write an
editorial in which you support the power of positive thinking. Use Brians experience as an
example of how positive thinking can help people. At the conclusion of your editorial, encourage
people to adopt positive thoughts and to see what happens.
So what I think is I think that is true the reason why is because if you do something nice to then
they will do it to you. Like here is an example so one time I was helping my mom clean up the
house so she was so proud of me she gave me $20 see so if you do something good they will
do it back. Here is a example for brian so he was patient and then he found about the time then
he found all of his supplies.
Chapter 6 Assignment: Pick an example of a flashback in the chapter, summarize it, and
explain how it helps/hurts Brian emotionally.
So I will be telling a flashback from chapter 6 Hatchet. So the way it help him is he seen
someone else survive so i help him is that he someone else do itelp him think he can survive to.
The info the guide provide is how to eat what you need to eat. So that is my answer.

Chapter 7 Assignment:Create a bubble map with 6 external bubbles. In the center, write
conflicts. Identify and describe 6 different conflicts youve seen in the book.

Chapter 8 Assignment:Retell a time when you had a dream that ended up being more of a
message to you
I will be telling a time when I had a dream when I had a dream that felt lick real life. Like last
week I was having a sparing test. It was at the hawaii self storage. All of my friends was there
with me. Then I spared my first friend and lost. Then my 2 friend I won. So the reason how I
found out it was not a dream is it was just me and my sister fighting in are sleep. So that is my
answer.

The reason why his had suspicion is because is was wondering what
was in the the sand. The next reason he has suspicion is because he
wonder what is in the egg.

The reason why he is glad is because he is glad because he has the

fire the reason is because a swarm of mosquitoes surround him until
he got to the shelter and the fire made them go away.

The reason why he is because he made a fire by himself he also

made a swarm of mosquitoes go away so now he know he can survive
the wild.

Chapter 11 Assignment:
Hi so I will be telling you if I was in a catastrophic situation. My catastrophic situation would be
a apocalypse. The reason why I choice this is I will like to be more of a survivor. The reason
why I want to be a survivor is that I want to be less fat and have more energy that is it for the
first paragraph.
In this paragraph I will be telling you how my catastrophic situation would change me.So this
would change me is that I would be way way more on the look out if anyone trys to kill or hurt
me. The next way that this would change me is that I will have major Crippling depression
because would not want to die and I will be very scared. The last reason how this will change
me is that I will not be scared of little things is that I am scared of now like spider and stuff like

that. The two thing I will be scared of is death I will be just as scared as then I am as torger.

Chapter 12 Assignment
Dear Mom,
I miss you so much. I am somewhere in around California that now one every seen
before. I am lost, could, hungry, and very tired that was just day one. My whole entire body
hurts I can not move from all the pain so please help me that is just day 3 I do not want to be in
here any longer. I just got back from getting food but this was the one of the scariest time of my
life. I found some berries but then a big giant bear pop out of nowhere, so I just snatch a the
berries and ran. That was just day 4. YES! I am so happy because do you know that hatchet
you gave me well I just made a big fire wait I will be right back I can not let it blow out this is just
the best day of my life day 5! So help me. SOS

Chapter 13 Assignment: Write a blog from Brians POV. Be sure to use specific information
from the text, connect with the reader, and use emotional appeal.

Chapter 14 Assignment:Create a new invention that could help Brian survive in the
wilderness.
My invention would be a fisher. So it would tell you where the fish is. Also if you aim at
the fish it will catch the fish nomatter what. The last thing what it can do is it can cook
the fish as soon you catch it. That is what my invention.
The way it can help Brian is it can relief of his hunger. The next thing it can help brian
with that can help him have lots of food.

because he been through a tornado. The other reason why I think he will make it is
because he is so determined. My last reason why he will survive the nose all the route of
the plane. So that is my answer for chapter 16.
