UPCOMING PERFORMACES

THE LITTLE PRINCESS

A drama adapted by Cynthia Mercati

Directed by Anne Yumi Kobori
A JOINT PRODUCTION WITH SF SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL
Sara Crewe is living happily in India when her father, Captain
Crewe, decides to give her a proper English education. Together,
they leave behind Saras beloved India for Miss Minchins grim
boarding school in bustling London. Captain Crew says his
farewells and embarks on another business venture. Saras love
of books, her memories of India, and her vibrant imagination
quickly win over the other schoolgirls and the serving girl Becky.
But when fate takes a disastrous turn, Sara and her friends must
learn how to survive amidst tragedy and hardship. Through
courage, friendship, and imagination, these young women
discover what it truly means to be a princess.
