unprecedented.ThisisbyfarthemostshamefuldayinthehistoryofParliament.TheactsoftheMP'shaveshamednotonlythe
ParliamentbutalsohaveinsultedtheIndia'sdemocraticrepublicsystem.Theunrulyscenesareaviolationofthe"Conductof
Business"inLokSabha.Thelegislatorshavetofollowthe"RulesofProcedure"tosharetheirconcernsinthehouse.Howcan
oneexpectthecitizensofacountrytofollowthelawwhenthelawmakersthemselvesabusethelaw?Irrespectiveofthedegree
ofconcern,democraticmeansshouldbeusedtoattainanobjective.Indiaisnotabananarepublic.Theviolentscenestodayin
nowaydifferentiatethemselvesfromtheactofaterroristwhoseprimaryobjectiveistoterrorisepeopleandcreateunrestto
achievehisulteriormotive.WhatexamplehavetheMP'ssetfortheyoungbrainsofanemergingIndia?Theidealsofour
freedomfightersandthemakersofourconstitutionhavebeenlongforgotten.
Thelimitedactionofsuspensionwillinnowayactasadeterrent.Criminalproceedingsshouldbeinitiatedagainstthemembers
whorepeatedlyviolatetherulesofthehouse.TherearealreadymanyMP'swithcriminalbackground.Ifactionsliketheseare
ignored,peopleofIndiawilllosefaithinthemodelofdemocracy.Thiswillbeverydetrimentaltothefutureofthenation.The
SupremeCourtshouldinterveneandupholdthevaluesofIndianDemocracy.

wherelawsaremade,decorumshouldbemaintained.Ifthehouseisrepeatedlyadjournedtherewillbenotime
todebateonthebillsandintheendthebillsarepassedwithloopholes.Indeedaverysadstateofaffairs.It'shigh

TheactionsthattookplaceintheParliament,consideredasthetempleofdemocracy,weretotallyhardtobelieve,completely
shocking,reprehensibleandundoubtedlyshameful.ItwouldnotbewrongtosaythatitwasablackdayinthehistoryofIndian
Democracy.
SinceIndiaisanationofUnityinDiversitytherecannotbeaeasyconsentfromalltherepresentativesfromallthestatesona
particularissue.ButweelectourrepresentativestotheParliamentsothattheythroughintellectualtalks,discussions,debates,
sortouttheissuesinharmonyandnotthroughvandalismoranarchy.Destructionofpublicpropertyitselfisacrime,andsuch
demonstrationsinthemostreveredhouseinthecountryistobetotallycondemnedandstrongactionsneedtobetaken.The
nationalleaderswhoshouldideallybethepeoplewhomweshouldideallyfeeltoimitatehavetodisplayifnotimmense
patriotism,atleastminimumetiquette.
Alltheconstitutionalteachingshaveremainedinthebooksandwhatwegettoseeisfracasandruckusinthehouse.Wehave
rulesofprocedureandconductofbusiness,differentcommittees,whipetcwhichlaydowndirectionsthateveryMPhasto
followandabide,minimumwhatweistobeexpectedfromthemistohavediscipline.Thefatherofconstitutionrightlysaid
howgoodaconstitutionmaybe,itissuretoturnoutbadbecausethosewhoarecalledtoworkit,happentobeabadlot.
IndianPoliticalPartieswithelectionsjustaroundthecornerhavesortedtowhatitiscalledasblamegamepolitics.Its
embarrassinglysurprisingtoseethattheconcernedMPsortheparties/MPswhodirectlyorindirectlyhavebeenthereasonfor
thischaosdonotacceptitinsteadmakesomegibberishtalks.
Wedefinitelyneedmorediscipline,education,modestyandhumilityamongsttheelectedrepresentativestoprovethecountry
theirdignityandpoliticalprowess.

Shameful,DisgracetoIndiandemocracy.IwouldliketosayitasPepperDemocracy
Doesmeanwheremoralandethicalandmandatoryvalueswouldvanishandlosses
consciousnessturnsintocompletebuffalostampede.Asahumanbeingtheymight
havesomesortofInsane,buttodayitreachestopeakstage.Causewhichdrivento
thisthoseareresponsibleforsomeextent.Atthefinalstagetheymightnothave
anyoptiontofightortostopthebifurcation.Butthesetypesofextremethoughts
werenotexpected.BigslaptomotherIndiaTheycompletelyforgotten
whattheyare.Untilandunlessthechangeinphilosophyofpolitics,Indiawould
nevergrowandIamsuspectingthatIndiawouldfacecrisisofpoliticsandwail
forleaders.PeopleaswellasPoliticalleadersshouldrealizefromthis.
ThereshouldbesomeseverepunishmentwhoevercrossthelineConductofBusiness.
DemocracyinIndiastillrhetoric.Andthisisanotherexampletotakesomeinitiative
towardshistoricaldecisionregardingtopoliticsinIndia.

TheincidentsthathappenedyesterdayinourParliamentisveryunfortunate,andveryshameful.Itwasthebloton
democracy.TheParliamentwasmeantforDiscussion,Debates,Ponderovertheproblemsofpeoplebuttodaysparliamentisseen
asbattlefield,itisbelievedtodaythatwhohasgreatervoicegreatermusclepowercandoanythingintheparliament.
Therightsthatisthereinourdemocracyisnotbeingproperlyused.Theexpressionofdisagreementshouldbe
democratic.Functioningofparliamentshouldbeinorderandthereshouldnotbeanyroomfordisruption.Dissentistheessence
ofparliamentarydemocracybutthereshouldbelineofdividetowhatextentdissenthastopermitted.Therulinggovtandthe
oppositionhastorespectthevoiceofdessent.LegislatorshastorespecttheBusinessofthehouseandRulesofProcedure.
Therecannotbeanystrictrulestocontroltheindividual.Itshouldbehis/herresponsibilitytorespecttheestablishedrulesand
conduct.
Everythingcannotbewritteninconstitutiontoactaccordingly,AsAmbedkarsaidThereshouldbe"ConstitutionalMorality"
amongthelegislators.ThereshouldbeSocialDisciplinelikewhenoneispeakingotherhastolistenthenhastorespond
accordingly,whichislackinginpresentpolitics.
Fromyesterdaysincidentitwasevidentthattherewasdissentamongthesamepartymen,Antidefectionlawshouldaddress
thisissue.
Thepublicmoneythatisspentfortheseinstitutionsisnotbeingrespected.Themicthatwasbrokenwasnothis/herown
property,thatwasboughttherewiththepublicmoneywhichwascollectedintheformoftaxes.Itwassaidinsomereportthat
around1.8crorewillbespentperhourfortheparliament.
TheimmunitythatwasgiventoMPfromcheckinghastoberespected,theyshouldrespecttherespectgiventothem.
Finally,strictlawsmustbemadeforMPs.TheRulesofConduct,andProceduresofHouseshouldbeamended.
