Thank you: Thanks to all who helped to

make our Christmas celebration so beautiful.
A special thanks to the choirs, cantors, and musicians
for the wonderful and inspirational music. Thanks also
to those who decorated and cleaned the Church. It
looked great. Fr. Tim

Christmas Items Galore for sale and you
name the price: Folks you won't want to
miss this special Christmas sale. Fr. Tim is

There are Santas, snowmen, reindeer, nativities,
nutcrackers, and everything Christmas under the sun.
The sale will take place immediately after all the
Masses on the weekend of January 7th-8th. The sale
will take place in Sacred Heart Church Hall. The best
part of this sale is that you name your own fair price.
Nothing will be price marked-it all depends on what
you want to offer. There's something for everyone.
Don't miss out on all these treasures. Fr. Tim
Christmas Take Down: On Sunday, January
8th, we will be taking down the Christmas
decorations at Sacred Heart Church, right

important that they not be late. Thanks for your cooperation in
this matter. Fr. Tim
Our Commitment and Pledge Campaign for St.
Joseph Church Restoration has begun for the
restoration and preservation of St. Joseph Church. I
ask all Sacred Heart-St. Joseph Parish parishioners to
prayerfully consider your financial gift and
commitment to this campaign and project. Through your
generous sacrificial response to this campaign, we are not only
honoring God, first and foremost, but we are also giving honor
to our ancestors who sacrificed so much to build and provide
for us such a holy and inspirational place of worship. It is our
responsibility as their children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and descendants to maintain what they worked
so hard to build. May the Lord be glorified by our generous
efforts and may He grant us hearts filled with charity. Let us
show our appreciation to the Lord for the many blessings we
have received by abundantly sharing our gifts with Him.
Blessings, Fr. Tim Haberkorn

PRAYER FOR THE NEW YEAR

Lord, we thank you for a new year.
May everyone in our family be willing
to begin anew with a clean slate.
We know that you are always ready to forgive us.
Help us to be willing to forgive ourselves
and to forgive one another.
As we begin a new year,
remind us of our truest values
and our deepest desires. Help us to
live in the goodness that comes
from doing what you want us to do.
Help us to put aside anxiety about the
future and the past, so that we might
live in peace with you now, one day at a time.
