Proposed Spring Action

Date

Saturday, March 22

We will bring in a guest speaker (Clements business teacher) to talk about financial literacy and investments and how
he teaches these topics in his class. We will than individually have small presentations about the research that we
have done. We wish to work with Junior Achievement to implement the Financial Park program, which includes a
personal finance activity, into our event. The activity is set up in various booths, so we will need a few volunteers to
help with the activity. We would need to purchase several materials such as poster boards to present information on.
For our interactive element, we are thinking of creating an online survey to measure basic financial literacy.
