Section 1. Section 262.9, Code 2017, is amended by adding
2 the following new subsection:

NEW SUBSECTION. 39. Prohibit the institutions of higher
4 education under its control from scheduling any intercollegiate
5 football game on a Friday.

This bill requires the state board of regents to prohibit
10 the institutions of higher education under its control from
11 scheduling any intercollegiate football game on a Friday.
