Melissa Flaim 10 December 2016 Meet the Press Analysis November 13, 2016 I decided for my Meet the Press analysis to watch what had to be one of the most interesting episodes of the entire year, which took place after the historic election of Donald Trump as President of the United States. Aside from host Chuck Todd, the episode featured Trumps campaign manager, Kelly Anne Conway, Senator Corey Booker, Nina Turner, and DNC chair candidate, Keith Ellison. Throughout the episode, I found that both the vocal quality and production varied greatly from person to person and the levels of passion were astounding given the historic nature of the past week. Host Chuck Todd opened up with an excellent segment about the divided country we find out selves in. Chuck directly addresses the audience. You can feel his passion through the screen as he speaks. His voice primarily resonates off of his hard palate and from his mask which creates a strong and full sound-perfect for a network television host tasked with speaking to the American people after a trying week in our history. He looked directly into the camera on numerous occasions and I could feel the passion in his voice. He articulated very clearly throughout the entire episode. The first guest on the program was Donald Trumps campaign manager, Kelly Anne Conway. Kelly Annes voice is grating to listen to. She possesses a certain nonchalance in her voice that works surprisingly well for someone defending such a bombastic character as Mr. Trump.
