Strengths of the Software: Generates questions based on what the students are doing good at,
and what they are struggling with. Teacher is able to monitor and track how students are doing,
and if they are using the help provided by the Khan Academy.
Suggestions for Improvement: Would be nice if students could take the program home with
them to use and practice even more if they like. This would also be an easier way for teachers to
see if the students were taking some extra time at home to improve on what they struggle with.

Description of how to implement in the class: We will need access to laptops, or desktop
computers for this activity. This activity will be student self-paced. They will be able to control the
amount of problems they accomplish and how fast they go. Students will be on computers doing
practice questions and looking over different hints from Khan Academy. The teacher will walking
around making sure no one needs assistance. Also, the teacher will be monitoring the progress of
students through Khan Academy.

The activity will be introduced with a short overview of the parts of Polynomials, this way the
students have a refresher on what they are doing. We will conclude the lesson with students being
able to ask questions on anything they were struggling with in particular. To assess student
learning we will look at how well they did through Khan Academy. If we see that students have

struggled with a particular section we will go over this part more in depth the next day. This will
help us lock down on particular areas were the students in each class struggle in.
