NH Series Rubber in Shear hangers are neoprene elements housed in sturdy steel housings, elements
include top and bottom steel plates for uniform load distribution. HN series are similar to NHD series
from the application point of view except the element is of single deflection type. All elements are
color coded for ease of identification. Element incorporates projected collar to prevent metal to
metal contact between rod and bracket.

 NEOPRENE HIGH LOAD PAD
Model NHP pad isolators are manufactured from high grade neoprene. This material offers
outstanding durability properties (water/ weather resistance), which are an important feature
in floating floor applications, due to long service life requirements.

Neoprene also offers reliable and tested manufacturing flexibility, allowing isolator designs
with natural frequencies of B-10 Hz. This is a critical feature of acoustical floating floor design,
since the lowest humanly audible frequency is ~20Hz, and to ensure that all audible frequencies
are isolated, the natural frequency of the isolators supporting the floating floor must be considerably
below 20Hz.

 SPRING MOUNTS
(Type "Y-4-200" Series 2"Deflection)
Type "Y-4" series mounts with two inch deflection provides a solution to critical vibration
problems. These mounts are preferred over the one inch deflection mounts and most rubber
mounts due to higher static deflection. These mounts are normally recommended for building
structures where negligible vibration transmission to the building is required. "Y-4" type spring
mounts with two inch deflection are designed for noise and vibration control application in critical
areas on concrete or wooden floors.

FEATURES:

Two or Three piece cast iron housing to house the spring. Mounts are provided with slotted
mounting holes on base for bolting to floor with non skid elastomeric acoustic pad. Resilient
elastomeric rubbers on inner housing to prevent metal to metal contact and allow spring to
function properly. These Mounts have a built in leveling device (external or internal). Springs
have 50% additional travel to solid beyond rated load as per the ASHRAE recommendations.
These spring mounts can also be supplied with flat top or non skid neoprene top load surface
in case of internal level adjustment

Input seismic force 2G is the highest input magnitude ever recorded anywhere in the world. The
snubbing element is a high quality molded neoprene. The housing is made of steel construction with
rugged zinc metallized finish. Springs have a 50% additional travel to solid beyond rated load as per
ASHRAE recommendations. Seismic spring mounts model SS-1-200 series are suitable for 2"
deflection. These spring mounts are recommended where building is critical from vibration point of
view and where negligible vibration transmission to the building is required.
