Harrison Bergeron conveys the conflict between the needs or ideals of society by escaping from jail. In the article
Harrison Bergeron it states Harrison tore the straps of his handicap harness like wet tissue paper, tore straps
guaranteed to support five thousand pounds.(vonnegut para.54) Harrison was out of jail he didnt the world to the
same as it was before. Harrison didnt like he had to wear the most metal of everybody. Also in this same article it
states Not only were the laws of the land abandoned, but the law of gravity and the laws of motion as
well.(vonnegut para. 70)This was very different because they started floating through the air. Harrison Bergeron
created the conflict between a utopian world and a dystopian world
