To Whom It May Concern:

It gives me great pleasure to recommend Ms. Amy Ayers for a position as a guidance counselor at your school. Ive been

fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Ms. Ayers during the 2016-2017 school year at Forestbrook Middle School.

Ms. Ayers is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and committed guidance counselor. She maintains high expectations for her students,

her peers, and herself. She has a thorough understanding of professional and ethical standards for counseling. She not only

balances a caseload of almost four hundred seventh graders but also serves as our school testing coordinator. She conducts

classroom guidance and individual counseling sessions with the highest degree of professionalism. In addition to helping to

facilitate our annual Career Day which boasts more than 115 professionals from throughout Horry County presenting to our

students, Ms. Ayers has been instrumental in developing a job shadowing day for our eighth-grade students this year. As a

member of our school crisis management team, Ms. Ayers demonstrates calm in the face of difficult situations whether that may

be a student requiring medical attention or an unexpected power outage in our building. Ms. Ayers not only has positive

relationships with teachers, students, and parents, but she has also established connections within our community. She works well

with outside agencies to provide appropriate services for our students.

As an individual, Ive found Ms. Ayers to be dependable, trustworthy, and compassionate. She is well-respected and admired by

staff, parents, students, and community members. It is without reservation that I recommend Ms. Ayers for this position, and she

would be a true asset to your school.

Sincerely,

Principal
