1. Purpose
- To inform All ASCs of information about Technical Tip.

2. Symptom
- No Power on, unable to enter download mode

3. Instruction

- Brief Process
1) Download pit and bootloader to sdcard using normal phone
2) Insert the sdcard to no power phone and try to enter download mode

- Pre-requisites
1) Micro SD card
Type of sdcard should be SDHC or higher type, and capacity should be 4GB
or more.
2) Normal SM-N9005 to copy pit and bootloader to sdcard
3) Odin3 V3.09 or higher version
4) Pit and bootloader
Pit : MSM8974_boot_recovery.pit
Bootloader : normal bootloader

- Boot Recovery Process

1) Extract Odin3_v3.09.zip and run Odin3 v3.09.3.exe

2) Load MSM8974_boot_recovery.pit in PIT tap and bootloader file in BL tap.

3) Check T Flash option.
4) Insert sdcard to normal phone and enter download mode.
5) Connect the phone to PC.

6) Click Start button to download pit and bootloader to sdcard.

If its PASS, sdcard was successfully made for boot recovery.

If you already have made sdcard for boot recovery, you can proceed from 7).

7) Insert sdcard to No Power phone.

8) Enter download mode, using Volume down + Home + Power key.
9) If the phone is successfully recovered, phone will enter download mode.
10) After entering download mode, download full S/W to the phone including pit,
bootloader, AP(PLATFORM), CP(MODEM), and CSC.
