Unit 2. Whos Em ?
Language focus: greeting people, introducing people, question words: Who? What?,
the verb to be singular, titles (Mr. Mrs. Miss)
Main aim: To review language used to introduce oneself and other people, greet
people and practise in a meaningful context (Halloween party).
By the end of the lesson the students will have practiced introducing oneself and other
people and asking questions about who the others are and what their names are.

Assumptions: I assume that my students master the simple structures they had been
practising during the first two units. At this level, they still have difficulty putting the
words in the correct order and asking questions to find out simple information. They still
need to practise a lot and get used to the new learning environment (they are fifth
graders).

Solutions : To help them out with appropriate eliciting questions and visual prompts.
To provide video aid and practice the structures while singing.
