6:30pm Reception
7:30pm Dinner & Program, Followed by Dessert Reception

All volunteers will commit to work on:

from 2 pm to the Close of the Event

Human Rights Watch is an international human rights monitoring and advocacy organization known
for its in-depth investigations, its incisive and timely reporting, its innovative and high-profile
advocacy campaigns, and its success in changing the human rights-related policies and practices
of influential governments and international institutions.

This volunteer opportunity is best suited for those individuals interested learning about Human
Rights Watchs work and gaining experience in a large, well-organized, international non-profit
organization. Volunteers will gain knowledge of the organization's priority human rights issues and
build skills in event management, and fundraising.

Qualifications: Applicants should be detail-oriented, well-organized, self-motivated and reliable.


RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

Event Set-up & Breakdown


Live Fundraising Help
Registration
Ushers and Door Attendants
Greeting and Directing Guests
Other Miscellaneous Tasks

VOLUNTEERS WILL RECEIVE:

**Space will be provided to change into event attire between set up and start of the event**
Food and refreshments will be provided for volunteers onsite
