Student Instructions
Step One: As a class, we will discuss and create a general list of characteristics of the months of the
year. We will look at the season changes, weather patterns and holidays that occur throughout the
year.
Step Two: Next, students will pick a partner to work with. Some students may need to work in
groups of three depending on the overall number of students in our class. The group will decide which
month they will research. Once the month is chosen, each member of the group will use the internet
to find facts about their month. Facts recorded should include: number of days, season, average tem-
perature, holidays and any other interesting information.
Step Three: Last, the students will use their notes to create a poster that will display information
about the month. The poster can include drawings, pictures printed from the internet, and facts
written to decorate and display all the information. Once finished, each group will present their poster
to the class. We will then display the finished product in the hall for all students to enjoy!
