Presentation
In this book, I share with you some questions related to Christian life, remindi
ng him that as servants of God, it is important to hear his voice every day for
His will, which is perfect and sovereign, is manifested in our everyday lives. B
ut for that we need to make a move, a position before the Lord. You will only se
e the glory of God says, "Here am I, Lord," as did the prophet Isaiah. The Almig
hty wants to act in his life. He knows, sees their problems and needs. Is not in
ert in the face of their afflictions and their dilemmas. However, you need to co
nfess Him with repentant hearts, their sins and their weaknesses. I pray that th
e Lord will pour blessings on your life and you can in the name of Jesus, have a
real encounter with the Almighty, so that there is spiritual growth and life ch
ange, it is impossible to truly serve God without processing staff. That this bo
ok will help you overcome what separates him from the Lord, that you may have li
fe in abundance. After all, this is the desire of the heart of him who loves us
and wants to give us eternal life.
Chapter 1
Allah, the Lord of his life
The key to interpreting the Old Testament is to analyze the facts narrated in th
e light of that time, drawing lessons and practices applicable to the Christian
life today. This chapter looks at the attitude of Isaiah before God and its cons
equences, showing that just as the Lord revealed His glory and His power to the
prophet, from this stance, the Almighty wants to prove to you, but is waiting fo
r its proper positioning before Him and the mission they have for your life. Are
you ready to say "Eisma here, Lord?" Impediment to God's glory In the year that
King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne high and lifted up, and
his train filled the temple. Seraphim were above it, each one had six wings: wit
h two they covered their faces, and with two they covered their feet, and with t
wo they flew. And they cried to each other, saying, Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord
of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved
with the voice that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Then said I, al
as, that will perish! Because I am a man of unclean lips and dwell among a peopl
e of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts! But one
of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, he had taken with tongs
from the altar, and with it touched my mouth and said, Behold, this hath touche
d thy lips and thine iniquity is taken, and purified your sin. After that, I hea
rd the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, here
am I, send it to me. Then he said, Go and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but
understand not, and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Isaiah 6.1-9 The quote beg
ins: In the year that King Uzziah died ... This king was very powerful, one of t
he greatest of his time (see 2 Chronicles 26). He was one of the most monarchs
time remained on the throne, over fifty years. The nation of Israel enjoyed an i
ncredible prosperity during the reign of Uzziah. He was wonderfully and helped c
are for the Lord, and became strong. However, the end of his life was catastroph
ic. He forgot that the blessing came from God,€become corrupt, leaving the prid
e and arrogance to take care of your heart. The Bible says that in later years,
Uzziah was leproso1, just for disobeying the Almighty, offering sacrifices to Hi
m at the altar - that was the exclusive function of the priests. After the death
of Uzziah, the prophet Isaiah could see the manifestation of God's glory. Why?
Because sin has been removed, inequity has been withdrawn. This is the first les
son: Sin separates man from the Lord, but when it is expiated, the power of the
Creator manifests. ________________________
¹ In the Bible, leprosy is usually a symbol of sin, as this chronic infection p
roduces severe lesions in the skin, mucous membranes and peripheral nerves, maki
ng the sensitivity in the affected area, causing rotting of the tissues and caus
ing the person to death slowly.
Do a quick reflection on their Christian conduct and its priorities, and answer:
what is preventing your life a manifestation of the glory of God? The prophet I
saiah, in Chapter 59.1,2, says the Lord's hand is not shortened nor his ears are
closed, Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it can not save, neither
his ear heavy, that can not hear. But your iniquities have separated between yo
u and your God and your sins have hidden his face from you, so you will not hear
. As in the past, these days, removing the man of God are inequities. Not the Lo
rd who is away or does not like you. It is sin that harms the sanctity of the Mo
st High, that separates man from his Creator. Again consider: what prevents God
to manifest himself to you with power, glory and authority? It is time for sin t
o be confessed and banned, so the Lord can act and change his story. The experie
nce of the Prophet Isaiah that the Lord God who lived during the reigns of Uzzia
h, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, and was counselor of kings, Isaiah had
a personal experience with God and announced the message from the Creator to the
people. At the beginning of his ministry, Isaiah preached about divine judgment
s on Israel and other nations. Later, he began to speak of hope, ensuring that t
he people of God would be restored with the advent of the Messiah. The prophet I
saiah saw the glory of God, and that made all the difference in your life and yo
ur ministry. Experiences with the Lord bring significant results. No one can hav
e intimacy with the Father and maintain the same lifestyle. It's impossible! Thr
ee incredible things happened to Isaiah from his personal experience with the Ki
ng of kings. The Prophet recognized his condition as a sinner and identified the
ir iniquity, admitted that lived with people who engaged in transgressions, inju
ring the divine precepts, and that if I continued thus would be destroyed, in vi
ew of the holiness of God. Isaiah said: Woe is me, I will perish! Because I am a
man of unclean lips and dwell among a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes hav
e seen the King, the Lord of Hosts! (Isaiah 6.5) The Prophet declared his sin, h
is miserable condition and surrendered to the Lord's feet, "I'm living in sin, w
rong, will be destroyed because I am nothing in front of God and His glory." Whe
n you have a personal experience with the Lord, their lifestyle comes into play.
You are confronted, recognizes his sinful state and want to change their lives.
When he takes the same attitude of Isaiah, God begins to work within, because y
ou recognize that it is sinful and totally dependent on His grace and His mercy
to change their living conditions. Personal Experience In the year that King Uzz
iah died, I saw ... (Isaiah 6.1). In this text there is an interesting detail: t
he prophet says: I saw. Nobody told Isaiah. He witnessed, experienced the fact.
It is of utmost importance that Christians have personal experiences with God. T
he experience of others is gratifying, edifying. However, ours is fundamental an
d remarkable because it allows us to renew our personal commitment to the Lord.
How many testimonies, fantastic tales of what God did
in the lives of my brothers, I've heard throughout my life trajectory Christian?
All I rejoiced. But I am unable to remember each one. However, my personal expe
riences with God, can spend ten, twenty, thirty years, which will not be forgott
en. It is imperative that each of us has a personal encounter with God. Nobody c
an have Christian life from the experience of others! God is the God of the univ
erse, all the earth, the Church, my brothers, my family. But He must be my God.
I must know it, be intimate with Him Mary Magdalene was a woman who had a close
relationship with Jesus. But this was only possible thanks to his stance and his
commitment to the Son of God.€She had her life transformed by meeting Jesus fa
ce to face and stay in His presence. Mary Magdalene was under demonic possession
, but once had an encounter with Jesus, was freed by him and became his loyal fo
llower (Luke 8:2). Her life was restored by Christ, and even when all the discip
les fled in fear after the arrest of the Master, Mary remained firm with him unt
il the crucifixion, because he knew about who was serving. The fidelity of Magda
lene had reward: she was the first person to see Jesus after the resurrection (M
ark 16.9) and is responsible for announcing to the disciples that He had conquer
ed death. Experiences with God lead his approach, intimacy, which consequently b
rings blessings and victories! So it was with Daniel. Put to the test several ti
mes, his intimacy with the Lord allowed that he did not hesitate when prohibited
from making any petition that was not the king (Daniel 6). Another relevant exa
mple of faith and of intimacy with the Almighty in the Bible is Abraham. Committ
ed to his God, as he walked the divine direction, and even in the face of great
trial to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice, the patriarch of Israel will not he
sitate to obey the Lord, for I knew him intimately and trust in His love, His fa
ithfulness and His power, believing that He would provide the escape (Genesis 22
.8), or if need be, rise from the son of promise (Hebrews 11.17-19). Only those
who have experience with God can say what the apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 1:1
2: For which cause I suffer this too, but not me
ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and I am sure that is able to keep my
deposit until that day. The apostle Paul meant, "I know the God in whom I believ
e." What about us? And our generation? What's happening? You are lacking intimac
y with the Creator. And you know why there is no private life with the Lord? Bec
ause there is a lack of knowledge and experience with God. A generation away fro
m the Creator Notice what the Lord told the prophet Hosea about the lack of know
ledge about Him: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou ha
st rejected knowledge, I also reject thee, lest thou be a priest before me: seei
ng thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hose
a 6.4,6 2.7,10 In the book of Judges, we report that a whole generation was lost
after Joshua died, because she does not know the LORD nor the work He had done
for Israel. The people had more experience with God. And the people served the L
ord all the days of Joshua and all the days of the elders who prolonged their da
ys after Joshua, and saw all the great work of the Lord, which he had done for I
srael. And all that generation also gathered to their fathers, and another gener
ation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work that had done for
Israel. The current era we live in is also about the superficiality of knowledge
about the Creator. It is a time where people do not really know the God whom th
ey claim to believe and which they say serve. God continues to act with mercy an
d grace in spite of spiritual coldness of some, but remember that ignorance of H
im and His law generates disobedience, and this brings dire consequences, while
obedience leads to blessing (see Deuteronomy 28). Therefore, it is up to each pe
rson to decide to obey it; aware that subject to the will of the Lord means expe
riencing His glory, His might and His firmness in order to restore and save His
people.
Chapter 2
God wants to prove
The Lord wants to reveal His character, His love, His will to you in order to be
treated as their God. It should be noted that although His attributes and His p
erson are immutable, He can not reveal to you the same way as it does to others.
For example, Isaiah saw the glory of God on his throne (Isaiah 6). The prophet
Ezekiel had visions of the Lord in the midst of a lightning storm (Ezekiel 1.4,5
). Jeremiah heard
voice of the Almighty personally talking with him (Jeremiah 1.4,5), Daniel, befo
re having heavenly visions, he met the Lord through the Holy Scriptures, fasting
, prayer and experience that revealed the character, the omniscience and power o
f God (see Daniel 2.21-23,28,47; 6.26,27, 07.01 3; 8.16-19; 9.21,22; 10-12). In
the Scriptures there are many examples of the manifestation of the Lord. For Eli
jah, God appeared in a gentle whisper (1 Kings 19.01 2.1 3). It was thus that th
e prophet would understand and would correspond to the divine call. However, the
Creator can prove to you differently, because he always will so that man can un
derstand and how this needs to be treated.€The experiences that each of us has
with God are not equal. The mine may be different from yours and the other broth
ers. But the source of revelation is the same: God. He expresses those who fear
him and keep His teachings. He wants to know Him as absolute Lord over all thing
s. Looking at yourself When Isaiah beheld the glory and holiness of God, automat
ically realized his condition, and said: Alas, I will perish! Because I am a man
of unclean lips and dwell among a people of unclean lips (Isaiah 6.5). Usually
cover one's weakness is not something to be human. Most do not like to admit the
ir ailments, their errors, and loves to point out the flaws of others and possib
le solutions to the problems of others. However, our experience with God causes
us to look within ourselves, not for the life of others. Man without God is that
it persists in having a life of escapism. However, when the person has an encou
nter with God, is confronted by him, recognizes his sinful state and his need fo
r God, being challenged to change their lives. Saul, before having an encounter
with Christ on the Damascus road, persecuted Christians even having heard of the
wonders of Jesus' ministry. Saul had not yet experienced the power of the Lord.
However, after his meeting with He changed his thinking and his lifestyle: And
as he journeyed, came it came near Damascus, suddenly surrounded him a light fro
m heaven. And, falling on the ground and heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul
, why
do you persecute me? And he said: Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said: I am Jes
us whom you are persecuting. Is hard for thee to kick against goads. And he trem
bling and astonished said, Lord, what do you do? And the Lord said unto him, Ari
se and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. Acts 9.3-6
Saul had a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus, and before the greatness of
the Son of God, he realized it was wrong to persecute Christians and that his vi
sion of God was distorted. After his encounter with Christ, Saul learned about t
he divine will and referred to it by going to announce to others the good news o
f salvation. Saul could have stayed silent, not being subject to the Lord and go
in a different direction, but did not, because that encounter radically changed
his way of thinking, feeling and acting. And since Saul acknowledged his condit
ion and referred to the will of God, willing to change their behavior, even the
Lord said to him: Go, because this is for me a chosen vessel to bear my name bef
ore the Gentiles, and of kings and the sons of Israel (Acts 9:15). Saul became a
disciple of Jesus and was announcing to everyone that this was the expected Mes
siah. Confession of sins When Isaiah said: Woe is me, I will perish! Because I a
m a man of unclean lips and dwell among a people of unclean lips (Isaiah 6.5), i
t is understood he made a self-analysis of their existence, and found that he wa
s a man of unclean lips. Sin separates man from God. When we sin, communion with
the Creator is broken. The guilt and shame of expulsion, as it was for Adam and
Eve in the Garden of Eden. The Most High hates sin but loves the sinner. So whe
n the transgressions are confessed, the Father throws them into the depths of th
e sea, as it is written in Micah 1.7 8.1 9: Who, O God, is like you, who pardons
iniquity and forgives the transgression of the remainder of his heritage? The L
ord does not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. Will again have compa
ssion upon us; will subdue our iniquities, and cast all their sins into the dept
hs of the sea.
What do you mean by this passage you just read? The Lord is saying forget, makes
use of our sins, and will no longer mentioned. But we must first confession sor
ry. When you recognize who you are and your state is doing something wonderful i
n the spiritual world: he is confessing, acknowledging his mistake, his guilt, h
is need for God and their dependence upon Him. The confession makes us two thing
s: purification and triumph. Purify means to make morally pure, holy, take stain
s; purge altering substances, corrupting the purity of something. Triumph is to
subdue the difficulties, overcome obstacles and achieve victory. In 1 John 1.7-9
, it is written: But if we walk in the light as He [God] in the light, we have f
ellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us fr
om all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and there is no trut
h in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
and purify us from all unrighteousness.€When you recognize who you are and your
lifestyle to God, is admitting to. The power of the Lord Jesus into action to c
leanse you of your sin, restore their communion with God and take him to triumph
. In Proverbs 28.13, it is recorded: He who conceals his sins shall not prosper,
but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy. You will be a winner
to confess to God all that is in your heart. Do not be afraid or ashamed. The Al
mighty will forgive him, cleanse it and forget your iniquities, when you confess
to Him with a sincere heart and repent. The Lord promised in Isaiah 43.25: I, e
ven I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my sake, and I do not remembe
r your sins. Believe in the Lord's Word, obedeçalhe, and will be victorious.
Chapter 3
Spiritual insight
Isaiah not only realized his sinful condition before God's holiness. The prophet
also realized that dwelt in the midst of a people of unclean lips (Isaiah 6.5b)
. Who's around? You've accepted Christ, He has experience with, but can not disc
ern the people? If you do not truly know your friends and those who share the da
y-to-day with you is because you lack spiritual discernment. Only those who have
intimacy with the Almighty can discern good people, situations and places. Disc
ernment, the ability to perceive and evaluate things clearly and sensibly, is a
gift given by God himself (2 Cor 12.8-10). Can not have a friend for years and n
ot really know his personality! The Christian must have spiritual discernment, t
o see what no one else sees! For example, suppose you have a rambunctious fellow
, what has transpired much joy, and all think he is very happy. But you, who has
experience with God and spiritual discernment, soon realizes that he is hiding
something with this behavior. One day, alone with him, you say: 'Dude, I know yo
ur joy hides something ", and he collapses. Because with spiritual discernment,
you can see through, see what others can not see, and help others. When Isaiah h
ad an experience with God, who was discerned, their miserable state and its soci
al environment. This is because a person who has experience with God is never th
e same. It takes spiritual discernment. The apostle Paul wrote to the church at
Corinth about the difference between the natural and spiritual man. It is record
ed in 1 Corinthians 2.14-16: But the natural man receiveth not the things of the
Spirit of God, for foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they a
re spiritually discerned. But what is spiritual judgeth all things, and it is di
scerned of no one. For who hath known the mind of the Lord,
that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. In our country there a
re many people who claim to see angels and have many revelations from God. Howev
er, this does not change anything the way you are. They have no spiritual discer
nment. Continue with the same sharp tongue. Are perverse, vindictive. Spiritual
experiences that do not generate changes in life, no process, no release, no beh
avior change, experiences can not be with the Lord. Real experiences and concret
e There are many Christians living in deception. There are people who spend thei
r entire lives having visions, dreams that never happen. They are living in utop
ia, fantasy. God is not utopian! If the dream was generated by the Almighty, wil
l happen. If the revelation was made by the Lord, will be confirmed. If the prop
hecy came from God, will be held. Experiences with God are real, are materialize
d! They are not abstract things. Isaiah saw the Lord seated on a throne high and
lifted up and His presence filled the temple. He heard the seraphim crying one
to the other: Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of hosts. He felt the threshold of th
e door to move to the sound of the heavenly voice and his lips were touched by t
he live coal carried by seraphim. Isaiah responds to God's call. He had a real,
concrete, was impacted by it, and had his life changed. The Almighty has operate
d in Isaiah where it was needed. Experiences with the Lord are not in the abstra
ct, reflecting the real world. If Isaiah had just beheld the glory of God and ac
knowledged that he was a sinner, maybe this does not generate a big change, but
after one of the seraphim touched the unclean lips of the Prophet with a live co
al from the altar, sin was removed, and Isaiah found himself able to preach the
word of God Blessed Sacrament. The seraph touched on the problem of Isaiah: uncl
ean lips. God works in our lives and the way in the right area. He makes no mist
akes. The Lord will meet our needs and remove all things that prevent the manife
station of His glory.€God is needed! But it is crucial to recognize the sin, th
e problem. Are you surprised? But know that God does so today. You can be the gr
eatest sinner, but if he confess his faults and their needs, recognizing their p
recarious state, will be touched by the Lord. Their release will happen, because
experience with God is something real, that changes our
condition for the better. A person who has experience with God can not keep the
same old life of sin. The Lord will touch where it is necessary to remove the er
ror, deception, addiction, evil, and purify the person. That's exactly what Jesu
s did with the adulterous woman. And the scribes and Pharisees brought a woman c
aught in adultery And they continued asking him, straightened up and said to the
m: He who is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And, stra
ightening up Jesus and seeing no one more than the woman said unto her, Woman, w
here are they? No one condemned you? And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said:
Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way and sin no more. John 8.3,7,10,11 Being c
aught in the act of adultery - which at that time was considered a sin to death
and today continues to be viewed by society as a shameful transgression - a woma
n was brought to Jesus by the religious, but the Master forgave before all the p
eople pouring out His grace and mercy on her. From that moment, the woman was re
leased, purified, and had a new life in Christ. Then there's more ... Pay attent
ion to verse 8, Isaiah 6: After that, I heard the voice of the Lord ... After Is
aiah see the glory of God, recognize their need of divine mercy and be touched b
y the live coal from the altar, God still spoke to the prophet told him terrible
things, and commissioned him to announce the new people of promise. After an ex
perience with God, there's more! This also means that not just for me and for yo
u! The apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:18: But we all, with unveiled face b
eholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed from glory to glory.
It is an honor today, another tomorrow. Next week is more glory! The following m
onth, the glory is rising. In God, there are many "after". He has a lot to show
and prove to you! Has many plans for his life because he is a God of new things!
Why have people not believe? And believing for years and years, and nothing new
to tell of the wonders of the Lord. Says: "Brother, 40 years ago I met ma-ra-vi
-him-so with the Lord 39 years ago I was baptized with the Holy Spirit." We aske
d: "And then, brother?" What else happened? " He answers: "E. .. well ... let's
stay here."
However, a new convert, with three years of Christian life, can have almost a bo
ok of miracles to tell. He says: "It is with time? Three years ago, I accepted C
hrist. Two and a half years, Jesus baptized me with the Holy Spirit. Two years a
nd three months, he saved my family. And two years ago, God worked a miracle in
a coworker my ...". And does not stop. God must have "after"! He wishes to speak
more with you! Want to give you new experiences in your life as it did with the
woman who was suffering with the continuous flow of blood for 12 years. But wat
ch out for a detail that changed the history of the woman: she believed that the
Messiah would cure that disease, which the left completely debilitated and depr
essed for many years. He received a miracle as their faith. Check out the biblic
al text: And a woman who had a flow of blood twelve years, spent with doctors an
d all his possessions, and could be healed by any, came behind him, and touched
the hem of his garment, and immediately halt the flow of blood. And Jesus said,
"Someone touched me, because I perceived that virtue is gone out of me. Then, se
eing the woman who could not hid, came trembling and fell down before him, told
him before all the people for what cause she had touched him and how she was hea
led immediately. And he said: Be of good cheer, daughter, thy faith hath made th
ee whole: go in peace. Lucas 8.43,44,46-48 If you believe, will also see the glo
ry of God is manifested every day in your life!
Chapter 4
God speaks to us
After that, I heard the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Then said I, here am I, send it to me. Learn Isaiah 06.08, save and, if possible
, write down three characteristics when the Creator says, so that man can unders
tand, with objectivity and manifesting His will. I have seen countless people sa
y that God is talking about this and that, when in reality they are "prophets",
"Visagens", "revealing" things in her head. One day, at the end of a cult in my
church, the Assemblies of God in Penha, Rio de Janeiro (RJ)€a sister asked, "Pa
stor, I can give a message from God to his brother?" I replied: "Certainly! Spea
k!" She said: "Pastor, I saw a business ..." I asked, "What business?" She conti
nued: "A business ..." Joked: "A deal, deal? Business ?..." She confirmed: "It w
as a bargain so, shepherd!"
Of course it was not God speaking! The Lord is not equal to the man who often as
k for something, does a lot of rodeos, and has no objectivity. God is clear, dir
ect, aim! We see this in the episode in which Jesus approached the blind Bartima
eus (Mark 10.47-52). This was crying out: Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!
(V. 47) The Master asked: What do you want me to do? (V. 51) The blind man repl
ied automatically: "I want to see." Then Jesus said: Go, your faith has healed y
ou. And soon she saw, and followed Jesus along the way (v. 52). The Bible shows
in 1 Corinthians 14:33, that God is not of confusion. Therefore, He is not expre
ssed in a way that man does not understand. On the contrary! He communicates in
a clear and objective! He expresses his will so unmistakable! And the Holy Spiri
t who dwells in us at the time testifies to the truth! (See John 5:32, 15:26, Ro
mans 8:16, 1 John 5.6). Besides the Holy Spirit, God can use His Word, facts, mi
racles and others to confirm what he told us and nourish our faith (see John 5:3
9, 10:25, Hebrews 2:4, 1 Peter 5:12, 1 John 5:7). The danger of seeking propheci
es Nevertheless, many people go from house to house to hear some "prophets" who
are "revealed" in the room, kitchen, bathroom, in the room. Why do they not prop
hesy in church? Why not tell the revelation in worship? They do not like to expo
se their "visions" in the House of God because there is a shepherd with staff in
hand, ready to correct them, if necessary. I'm not generalizing. I know people
who are servants of God are used by Him with gifts of vision, revelation and pro
phecy. I'm saying there's been a frantic search for prophecies! It is unfortunat
e that many believers just run behind this kind of revelation, despising the Wor
d of God, which is the biggest revelation we receive from Him, and neglect the w
orship in your church, to go after "Visagens", "prophets" and "reveal ". Some be
lievers do these "prophets" their "spiritual gurus" and ask them things like, "C
an I leave the house today, brother?" God said something to you whether or not I
should leave? "" Sister, I will make a trip . What do you say to me, or do not?
closing the deal or not? " I believe in prophecy and spiritual gifts. However,
I regret that many people no longer believe that because of some freaks!
Beware of false prophets! The Holy Spirit speaks through the prophets. I have ex
perience this in my life! Do not disbelieve the things of God! But I leave a war
ning from God in His Word to examine if the prophet and prophecy is reliable or
not comes from the Lord. Beware, however, of false prophets, who come to you in
sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. Matthew 7:15 .. . For false
Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, if that were
possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24.24 Do not quench the Spi
rit. Do not despise prophecies. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Abstain fr
om all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5.19-22. And there were also false pr
ophets among the people, as among you also there will be false teachers who brin
g in sects of perdition and deny the Lord who bought them, bringing upon themsel
ves swift destruction. 2 Peter 2.1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try th
e spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out int
o the world. 1 John 4.1 One time, me and a worker for my church we were invited
to attend a worship in a big coverage in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. They
wanted me to preach the Word. As I entered the room, one sister was finishing "p
rophesy". She said: "And now, behold, I return to the bosom of my father." She w
anted to emphasize the fact that Jesus is speaking through her. But this is unfo
unded! Christ did not enter into anyone! When the meeting ended, one sister reve
aled to many of these things. He then turned to the worker who was with me and s
aid, "I had a vision of his brother out. Brother will move house?" He replied: "
No!" "The brother goes to another job?" He denied. She insisted: "Brother will h
old a
trip? "Again his answer was no. So, she concluded:" Understand this mystery! "Ho
w can anyone proclaim a revelation and turn this mystery? Mystery is not for me
nor for you, for God.'s in the Bible in Deuteronomy 29.29: The secret things bel
ong unto the Lord our God;€but are revealed to us and to our children forever,
to do all the words of this law. Things are mysterious to us as God reveals them
not us. But when he does, he speaks so that we can understand, speak with objec
tivity and clarity! Thus, we can not ask anyone what God has for us, because we
have direct access to the throne of grace. The veil that separated us from the h
oly place was torn when Jesus died on the cross, and opened the way to have acce
ss to the Father, by your blood. Now, you and me we have direct communication wi
th the Lord! Various manifestations of God also can not determine how the Father
wants to speak to us, which may be by the Word, the Spirit of God touching our
spirit, through someone used in prophecy, a revelation in a dream. To Joseph, so
n of Jacob and Rachel, the Lord revealed through dreams that he would be a great
leader: He said to them, Hear ye, this dream which I have dreamed: behold, we w
ere binding sheaves in the field and lo, my sheaf arose and also stood upright,
and, behold, your sheaves stood round about and made obeisance to my sheaf. And
he dreamed yet another dream, and told his brothers, and said, Behold, I have dr
eamed a dream, and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars bowed down to m
e. Genesis 37.6,7,9 We can not determine God how He should manifest itself. The
Lord is sovereign and communicates the way you prefer. If he want to use one per
son to give me a shout, I accept. If you choose to use someone with a prophetic
word, as I used to bless my life, I get. If he wants to give me a dream, a revel
ation, I agree. Most of the times that God speaks to us, the Spirit of God bears
witness with our spirit.
He can communicate in a supernatural way as he did with Moses in Exodus 3.2-4, u
sing a bush. And who are we to stop? And there appeared to him an angel of the L
ord in a flame of fire from a bush, and looked, and behold, the bush burned with
fire, and the bush was not consumed. And when the LORD saw that he turned over
there to see, God called unto him out of the bush, and said: Moses, Moses. And h
e said, Behold me here. The most common cause of God is speaking through the Scr
iptures. However, many do not want to read the Bible. They are lazy. They are ac
customed to the culture of the facility. It's faster to hear someone say that Go
d is speaking of what you get with the knee on the floor and face in the dust. B
ut I want to highlight the story of Hannah (1 Samuel 1:9), wife of Elkanah, woma
n of prayer. Amid the spiritual decline of Israel, it appeared as a woman of fai
th. Ana's life was marked by despair. Despite being valued and loved by her husb
and, she could not be a mother, and it was something terrible in Jewish society
of the time. I thought that infertility was a curse. But Anne knew the Lord deep
ly. Had intimacy with him therefore beyond the tears and prayers, she made a vow
to God, promising to give his son to serve the Lord if He would allow her to co
nceive a boy. God honored the faith of daring Ana It spawned Samuel, and fulfill
ed his commitment to the Lord. Even with a sinking heart as a mother, she did no
t hesitate to fulfill his promise because he had conviction about the God whom h
e served. And Samuel was a spiritual leader of great importance, which led the n
ation of Israel to turn to the Lord. Only those who have a life with God and ren
unciation of delivery have the courage to make a commitment with him as did Anna
, because they know that the Lord has the power to move heaven and earth to atte
nd an outcry, according to His will and His time. The voice of the Lord Relation
ship with God is not unilateral, nor prayer is a monologue, is dialogue. There a
re people who imagine God with a dagger in hand, ready to stare at who's bored.
Others imagine that if they speak with him at an inconvenient time, he will fume
and say, "Shut up Do not want to hear your voice! If you speak again, busted
you! I do not, want not, want not! Just me talking! "But in the episode with Isa
iah, we see how God is educated. He asked: Whom shall I send? Who will go for us
" (Isaiah 6.8A). Before revealing His will, Isaiah had to say here Eisma . Send
to me (see 8b). Then God revealed His will to Isaiah: So tell this people (Isaia
h 6.9a). You know what the lesson here? For God communicate with us, He wants to
hear us first. Here is the secret of prayer: He talks, but wants to hear us too
. The devil works for you and I not use the prayer. Satan knows that when we tal
k with God, the Lord responds and moves the spirit world. You know that the Crea
tor wants to talk with us. The Almighty wants to hear our voice and express them
selves. Moreover,€the more we approach the Father, the greater the degree of in
timacy we have with Him and therefore His voice sounds louder in our ears. Isaia
h understood perfectly the message that God was sending it. And you? Also unders
tand the Lord's will for your life? Do not say you do not realize that the Almig
hty is telling you to resign because, of course, is understandable. God speaks n
ot truncated, so twisted. He presents himself so that the man understands. It is
impossible to escape the will of God. Rebel against him, pretending not to unde
rstand it is to ask to feel the disciplining hand of the Father Do not. When he
orders something to him, obey him promptly. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and
do not do what I say? Anyone who comes to me and hears my words and notes, I wil
l show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, and digged, and o
pened deep, and laid the foundation on rock, and, coming the flood, the stream b
roke against that house, and could not shake, it was founded upon a rock. Luke 6
.46-48 Disobedience is not an option. The Father is glorified when we do His wil
l and obey her heart.
Chapter 5
God works in individual
What God has spoken, charged, request, signaled for you? Do not pretend you do n
ot understand. Look at what the Almighty said to Isaiah: Whom shall I send, and
who will go for me? Note that the subject seems undetermined: whom. But Isaiah k
new that the Lord spoke to him, and offered up: Here am I, send it to me. Then G
od spoke directly to the prophet. This passage makes clear that the Lord address
es the collective to the individual, the general to the individual. I preach to
everyone without distinction. However, when the message enters the heart of a pe
rson, she says, "Lord, I am, help me, I do!" So God deals with it personally. Th
e Father always manifests itself in general, but when someone is willing, He act
s on the individual. When the Christian has the Creator works in his life. I rem
ember that, at 15, I, the son of a shepherd, living with a group of friends, mak
ing a mess in the church. I liked to sit at the end of the temple with them. But
one day, a congress of the youth of my church, the pastor Elizeu Menezes, Assem
bly of God in Ilha do Governador, Rio de Janeiro (RJ), was preaching the message
alive to evangelize. God used this man to talk to me. I said: "It is I need to
hit me, to serve God." Pastor Elisha spoke in general terms. My friends were com
ing to me. However, the minute I heard that word, I said: "And me, revives me, c
hange me, Lord, I need to serve you better." And from that day, God changed my s
tory because they attended to His voice, His call. After the congress, a group o
f boys was impacted by the message, others do not. Then I and the first group st
arted work at dawn in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. For years, every Friday,
we spent from 22 pm to 4 am preaching to the doors of nightclubs. Was
a laboratory, a fantastic school for my ministerial life. You may be saying: "Je
sus, I am, I need to have a relationship with you. I need to hit my life, fix me
." God, here I am! " You know what? Look at what the Lord said to Isaiah when he
saw his availability. God said, go and tell this people ... (Isaiah 6.9a). And
Isaiah has become the greatest prophet of messianic Bible. No other so much talk
about the Christ. In the center of God's With this, you can learn the best plac
e to be is at the center of God's will. What do you want for your life? What you
need to resign? What is necessary to leave, leave? Where should you go? Is not
the place that makes the difference, neither employment or money, is the presenc
e of God in our lives. The most terrible place where I have spent at least about
eleven times the desert in the Sinai Peninsula. There is so dry, it is essentia
l to drink water even unwilling, to prevent dehydration. Morning is 45 degrees!
At night, a musical. The sun is blazing in the morning, at night the cold is cra
cking. But it was in the desert that was the Shekinah, the manifestation of the
glory of God to Israel. Thus departed from Succoth, and encamped in Etam, into t
he desert. And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the
m away, and by night a pillar of fire to give light to go by day and night. Neve
r took off before the face of the people the pillar of cloud by day nor the pill
ar of fire by night. Exodus 13.20-22 For those people who walked in the desert,
what made the difference was the presence of God, which guaranteed food and wate
r every day, cloud to soften the fury of the sun during the day;€and the pillar
of fire by night, to warm and amazing wildlife. Besides clothes and shoes of th
e Israelites rotted and missing nothing, because God has pledged their support.
The presence and will of the Creator in our lives makes all the difference! Seek
ing a meeting with God What God has spoken and dealt with you? Do not say
not understand the determination of the Lord. It's time to make a decision. The
Creator is the best for your life. I have not, but the heavenly Father has. Ther
e are people who know the Gospel, but are now completely fallen and shattered. I
f you're one of those people, it is far from God, come back! It was not that the
Lord has departed from you. He is not far from anyone. Read what Jesus promised
in Matthew 28.20b: Behold, I am with you always, until the end of time. There i
s still time! Reconciled to the Lord. If you have not had an encounter with God,
but wish it, the only way is to repent of their sins, confess them and recogniz
e the sovereignty of the Lord. Ask Him to come to you, talk to your heart, convi
ct you of sin, righteousness and judgment. Ask Jesus to be your Savior and Lord,
and changing his story. He will be happy to fulfill your request. Trust God! He
bid on all their needs, their questions, their sorrows, their dreams, their sin
s, and enjoy the care and love of the Savior. The best of God's coming. However,
this only happens if you acknowledge their poor state of divine mercy and cry u
nto the Lord for the manifestation of His power, which cleans, forgive and clean
se you. In Jeremiah 1 7.7.8, it is written: Blessed is the man who trusts in the
Lord and whose hope the Lord. Because it will be like a tree planted by the wat
ers, which extends its roots by the river, and not fear when heat cometh, but he
r leaf shall be green, and the year of drought he toils not, neither shall cease
from yielding fruit. For me and you, regardless of circumstances, let us be ste
adfast in God's presence, giving good "fruit", you need a true and real encounte
r with the Lord. You must have experiences with God. What will keep us safe on t
he Rocha is not the religion, church or the pastor so and so, but our personal e
xperiences with our Creator, that will generate the certainty that the Lord alon
e is God and His Word is truth; He has provided a guide to show us a little abou
t his person and on the principles established for an abundant life. Look at wha
t the Lord says in Isaiah 43.11-13: I, I am the Lord, and beside me there is no
savior. I
announced, and I saved and I did listen, and there was no strange god among you:
therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, I am God. Even before the day, I
am, and none can deliver out of my hands: I will work, who can reverse it? Now,
pray: "Lord, I want to have an experience with you. It changes my life, my stor
y. Forgive my sins. Your power and Your grace. Set me free, restores me. I belie
ve that the Holy Spirit will a new, powerful work in my life. What are broken by
the power of Jesus' name, all the chains that ravage me. Father, I surrender my
life into your hands. Amen. "
