Hello, This is Shubhendu Prakash Tiwari

I have done my graduation in Chemical Engineering from IIT BHU Varanasi. Post
that I worked for Reliance industries limited and Haldor Topsoe as an engineer.

As for my work in Reliance I managed a team of 5 executives to handle to

commissioning of Indias largest PTA project.

As for my academic achievements, I passed my CFA level 1 exam last year and
wrote level 2 exam this year. I was ranked 6th in a batch of 98 students at IIT
BHU, Varanasi. I scored a very high rank in AIEEE and IIT JEE. My research work
on purifying waste water using powdered peanut shells was given a special
mention by Hindustan Times. I bagged 2nd position in EXL business case study
event at IIT BHU campus.

As for my organisational and leadership experience, at college I organised the

first ever CFD simulation event by collaborating with a leading CFD software firm.
I was the campus ambassador of a education sector start up Axis tech soft
solution and handled the recruitment process for interns. I was given special
mention by the CEO of the firm for the quality of interns. I also organised
numerous sports events including Chess and Football.

As for my hobbies I am passionate about watching and playing football. I was a

part of Reliance football team and was captain in hostel football team at IIT BHU.
I am a state level chess player and bagged 7 th position in the state.

As for a person, I aspire to be a leader. I acknowledge that I have a huge gap to

bridge to be a successful leader and I am 100% committed to acquire the
necessary skills and shape it to perfection. I want to plug my weaknesses,
leverage my strength, learn from others, inspire others by my action and make a
mark here at XLRI. And yes I have the belief that I am going to be a very
