I am writing to ask that your organization begin as soon as possible to make your vehicles more efficient and less
detrimental to the quality of our air.

There are currently available technologies on-the-shelf such as:

   • Continuously Variable Automatic Transmissions (CVT)


   • Variable-Valve-Control-Engines
   • Integrated Starter-Generators (ISG)
   • Hybrid, Fuel-cell, and hydrogen energy technologies 
   • Switching from steel to aluminum, a stronger, lighter metal
... that will make most passenger vehicles, including A reasonable Corporate Average Fuel Efficiency (CAFE
SUVs, more environmentally friendly, and Standard) by 2012 is 50 miles per gallon. Give these targets
