SC Ready Test Data Review
6th Grade
7th Grade
8th Grade
Why do you think these standards are the weakest for our students?
How can we use this information to inform our review for SC Ready?
What are we doing currently to prepare students?
Brainstorm list of ideas:
6th - Scaffolding the questions - essential to teach them how to answer the multi-step real
world application questions; talked about Brendas graphic organizer for word problems;
incorporating longer performance task items into class as a review
7th - Pennsylvania PSSA questions - Choose 1 great DOK level 3 question for warm-up
8th - Dissect the PARC Test from Louisiana...has multiple parts. Using them for warm-ups.
Discussed using practice tests as a rotation/small group with DOK level 3 questions only.
