First you need to prepare one Ethernet cable and one Notebook with

RJ-45 connector.
You need to operate by following steps.
1 You need to power off the EKI-6340 and connect EKI-6340 and
Notebook with Ethernet cable.
2 Install the Wireshark if you dont install wireshark in your
notebook. You can download wireshark
(http://www.wireshark.org/download.html)
3 Download Winpcap and install it in your notebook.
4 Unzip the Winpcap.7z (https://www.winpcap.org/install/) and
install it in your notebook.
5 Unzip the AE tool.rar and run the utility according to your
system. If you are 32bit OS, you need to run mfgtest_x86.exe,
otherwise you need to run mfgtest_x64.exe
6 You will see the following screenshot in the utility.
a You need to select Management page and select to
Default.
b For Interface part, you need to select your Ethernet
interface, because you use Ethernet to connect to EKI-6340.
c For Product ID part, you need to select the device type that
you want to recover. Now, you need to select EKI-6340 in
this field.
d After you finish the configuration, you need to press Start
button to start the procedure.
7 After you press Start button, then you need to power on EKI-
6340.
8 You can check the information in message diagram to check
whether you reset it successfully or not.
