CONCLUSION
Directorate General of Correctional is under and responsible to the Minister of
1 Law and Human Rights, with several correctional unit consist of : Prison,
Detention Center, Correctional Centers and Home Storage Confiscated Goods

Most of the building conditions in Indonesian prisons are overcrowded, which


ultimately has the potential to decrease the quality of buildings, the quality of
guidance, risk to the security disturbance and low quality of care. Therefore, the
2 Directorate General of Corrections has made efforts to handling overcrowded
with new construction activities / rehabilitation building, redistribution inmates
and optimization of PB and CB

Correctional officers who are still not comparable with the number of prisoner /
detainee (1 Personnel Security : 57 Inmates). So, there is strategic needed by
3 increasing the quality of human resources, building (from a security perspective),
and technology.

Need the government's support for resolution of the problems in the construction
and maintenance of buildings correctional, and the Directorate General of
4 Corrections has made a strategic move with the formulation development
roadmap and correctional building patterns as guidance on development and
maintenance
