Special Evaluation Method
Applicable:
Working students with valid status when enrolling at UC.
Students with access to special examination period.
Final Grade = 1,00 x Final Exam
minimum grade : 10,0 points
No project.
These students may choose to carry out the assessment in
"normal" system with group project.
Means entering a group by the deadline set!
Comments on the evaluation undertaken in the special
examination period :
The score this time evaluation shall be the final grade.
According to the regulation of the IST special season does not
improve the grade of the course.

Access:
Can be accomplished by re-enrolled students.
Held in regular season or 2nd exam season(does not
apply to special season).

performing all components of the normal
assessment (exam and project).
Project
The objective is to obtain skills in enterprise
architecture.
Creating the architecture representation models
with the ArchiMate language, BPMN (and UML).
Reflection on produced architectural models
Project
Groups of 4 students.
Atomic enrollment of the whole group
There may be mixed groups of students Taguspark and Alameda.
At least one student, of each group, must be fluent in Portuguese
(since some documentation/websites are in Portuguese)

Project assessed in final delivery:

2 deliveries
Presentation/Discussion in final delivery
Grade = 0,20 x 1st Delivery + 0,80 x (Final Delivery+Discussion)
minimum grade : 8,0 points

21 February: beginning of the lectures
03 March: limit for entry into groups for project
10 March: project distribution
17 April: 1st delivery of the project
28 April: 1st test
19 May: Final delivery of the project
30 May: Project presentation
01 June: 2nd test
01 July: Exam 2nd season (+ repetition of 1st or/and 2nd)

The faculty encourages students to discuss ideas
and approaches to the theoretical and practical
problems with colleagues in order to promote
learning.
However, the partial or full copy of a solution is
strictly prohibited and all elements of the solution
must be of the exclusive student authorship
(examination) or group (project).
All similar jobs are not ranked, implying the
immediate failure to the course and the
communication of this fact to the competent
bodies of IST
