1 Full Time Program Director
Scope: The Program Director assists the Executive Director to sustain programs with
relevant government legislations, licensing requirements, accreditation standards and
organization policies/best practices. The successful applicant is responsible for
programming and supervision of children and youth in a supportive, fun, safe and social
environment.
Qualifications:
Child Development Supervisor Diploma or Human Service Diploma/degree equivalency
2 years of experience in child and youth care or relevant field
Programming experience
Experience with inclusive programs
Successful RCMP and CWIS check
Skill Advantage:
Knowledgeable and experience of evaluation and maintenance of licensing and
accreditation regulations preferred
Solid communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; written, verbal & non-verbal
Superior observation skills
Knowledge of Microsoft programs (word, excel, publisher)
Practices strong and positive & healthy lifestyle leadership skills; including nutrition, physical
activity and mental health
Great problem solving skills
Flexible and adaptable to change
Desire for ongoing professional development

1 Full Time Childcare Provider

Scope: Childcare Provider works with groups of children ages 3 & 4 under the supervision of
the Program Director & Executive Director. The successful applicant is responsible for the
supervision of children, the creation of age appropriate programming and implementation of
programs to meet the changing growing needs of children to achieve school readiness while
having fun.
Qualifications:
Child Development Worker Certificate, or Child Development Supervisor Diploma (or human
service education of equivalency
Successful RCMP and CWIS check
Skill Advantage:
Experience in a licensed and accredited childcare program
Superior observation skills
Practices a positive and healthy lifestyle
Great problem solving skills
2 Full Time Temporary Summer Program Employees
Scope: Summer Program Employees work with groups of school aged children under the
supervision of the Program Director and the Executive Director. The successful applicants are
responsible for the supervision of children and creation of fun/active programs in the club and
community.
Qualifications:
Education in Early Learning and Childcare or Equivalency
Enrolled in post secondary school for 2017/2018
Successful RCMP and CWIS check
