We think the other team might, firstly, try to argue that it is all about

genes. To weaken their position, we will argue that Math genius occured by
practicing.

To help you to understand more, here is the example : according to experimental

intervention conducted by researchers at Columbia and Stanford in the year of
2007. Researchers examined the math performance of a group of students in
seventh grade. For some of the students, the researchers applied an incremental
theory intervention, in which students were taught that their math skills could
grow through effort and learning and that intelligence can be nurtured and
developed. However, the other group of student did not receive any information
about the malleability of their intelligence.
By the end of the intervention, the control group's mathematics grades had
decreased, whereas the grdes for the first group of students in the incremental
theory condition increased. In other words, the students' belief that they could
grow and develop their intelligence-that it is not a fixed, inborn entity-helped
them.

We think the other team might, secondly, try to argue that genius is born
not made, you can be intelligence but not a genius. To weaken their position, we
will argue that it is all depends on growth mindset, how you think.

Environment and upbringing affect kids behavior and mental status.

The environment children grows up in and things they sees around them will also
influence their early learning.
Each stage of development has unique characteristics that influence how a child
will experience his or her environment. Based on Early childhood development-
One of the first and main environment, children will experience is the one at
home. It will shape their personality. Example: The bond the child shares with
their parents will help his or her understand and learn how to express them love
and fears. Accordingly, A positive and relaxed environment at home will help
children concentrate on studies and learn better.

We think the other team might, thirdly, to weaken their position, we will
argue with examples : Kristine Barnetts son, Jacob, is diagnosed being autism
and had been in intense treatment. When she saw that his son doesnt feel well,
she stops it and supports instead. She focuses on her sons ability that he did
great. As a result, when his son was 12 years old, he became a paid researcher
in quantum physics.
"All brains are created equal"
-Devlin posits, that "Mathematical thinking is a mixture of nine basic mental
abilities that every one of us has," as he wrote in a paper to accompany his talk.
"(They are) abilities that our ancestors acquired hundreds of thousands of years
ago in order to survive in the world."
This proved that everyone were born with the same equal structure brain, genius
are not born, it is made by the environment surrounding it. Everyone can become
a Math Genius.
