II. THEORY:
We used two equations one that uses X and one that uses Y
a. xf=xi+vixt+1/2axt^2
b. yf=yi+viyt+1/2ayt^2
IV. RESULTS:
Our results was not exactly what we were expecting. The marble did
not exactly hit dead center but it was very close. The reason for this is
probably our timing when we first started which messed up the
average. By having the initial velocity and the height of the table we

were able to make a guess where the marble could land before we
dropped it.
Run Time
1 0.25
2 0.14
3 0.16
4 0.17
5 0.16
6 0.18
V. DISCUSSION:
We rolled the marble down the ramp 6 times and recorded the time
the ball took to cross the last 30 cm of the ramp. We then did the
math and got the initial velocity. After we solved for the position where
the ball will hit the floor ending the experiment.
