Our speaker today, Steve Burchik, was
introduced by Kevin Reneau. Steve attended Manhattan College and worked for the New York Daily News before Vasch Gerber with her mother Melinda Gerber joining the US Army and serving in Vietnam. Steves presentation Cliff Is Back!! documented his year in Vietnam through his photographs. Cliff Dochterman appreciated the support that he received during his recent hospitalization and recovery. He said it is good to be back. Cliff also announced that he received a $1000 check from District 5160 for speaking at their conference. He is donating this gratuity to the Mary Elena Dochterman Scholarship fund.
President Kevin announced that the
donations in hand for the All Access Playground total about $235,000. Hillary Steve Burchik Listening to President Kevin Steve began by recognizing our Club Greeter Schedule: veterans and thanked them for their 4/11/17 = Vickie Devlin service. He described his arrival in 4/18/17 = Dick Vance (greeter) Herb W. (invocation) Vietnam and his platoons forays into the 4/25/17 = Debbie Koo Vietnamese countryside.
