Louisiana State University (Fall 2013-present): Completed 12+ hours each semester completing all
required classes in the Communication Disorders Curriculum. Electives in Communication Disorders
include: Bilingualism and Research Methods. GPA 3.495 GRE 297
Courses in the spring include: Fluency and Undergraduate Language and Articulation Clinic.

COMD ACTIVITIES
COMD Ambassador (2015-2016): I led tour groups of prospective COMD students, provide information
about the program, and answer their questions.
Feeding Clinic (2015-2016): I observed graduate students provide therapy to their feeding clients at the
clinic on LSUs campus. I organized the rooms and monitored clinic supplies. I completed 20 hours of
observation.
NSSHLA member (2014-present): I am a member of LSUs Communication Disorders club on campus.
Pediatria (2014-2015): I volunteered at Pediatria, a day health care facility for medically fragile children. I
assisted with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language pathology activities as needed. I
specifically helped with the weekly language groups that were led by LSU graduate students. completed 20
hours of observation.
EXTRA CURRICULAR
Chi Omega Sorority:
Chi Omega Personnel Chair (2016-present): I actively teach the chapter about the rules and regulations
of Chi Omega. At each event I am responsible for the behavior of the chapter. I also act as a liaison
between the Chi Omega chapter on campus, and our national director about membership and the status of
our chapter.
Rho Lambda (2016-present): I am member in good standing of the Greek honor society which celebrates
a collegiate who has excelled academically as well as in her chapters.
Director of Campus Activities of Chi Omega (2015): I informed the chapter of any upcoming activities
that are happening on LSUs campus, as well as fraternity philanthropy events occurring.
Philanthropy Co-Chair (2015): I helped plan a philanthropy event for Chi Omega benefitting Make a
Wish Foundation. With the help other members, I organized an event called Dishes for Wishes. During the
event, students, teachers, and families were able to purchase a $10 plate of food. We raised over $23,000.
Live 2 Serve:
Volunteer (2015-present): Wednesday nights throughout the semesters, I volunteered at the YMCA with
underprivileged children. We played with the children and taught social skills through positive
communication, and at the same time reviewed religion basics.
St. Jude Up Til Dawn:
Recruitment Director/Executive Board (2014-2016): I recruited participants, and planned Up Til Dawn
(an event that raises money for St Jude Research Hospital), as well as helped my team to think of new ways
to recruit and get more deeply involved in the organization.
PAID WORK EXPERIENCE
Access to Better Communication (2015-present): I am a student worker, and office assistant at a
pediatric speech therapy clinic. I organize therapy supplies, answer the phone, and assist the therapists. I
also work assist the therapists with social group therapy and help the children apply the skills they have
learned during the session in group activities.
Mignon Faget (Christmas 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016): I am a sales associate at a local jewelry store during
Christmas time while I am out of school. I sell jewelry, answer the phone, and manage the office.
Catholic Heart Workcamp (Summer 2016): I facilitated a mission trip with nine other college age
adults. We hosted 7 locations (in 6 Mid-Western states) for high school age students, and participated in
mission work in all of the cities.
Camp Abbey, Senior Counselor (June 2014-July 2014): I supervised children between the ages of 8 and
14. I planned night activities which included skit night, Olympic night, bonfires, and daily prayer.
St. John the Baptist Human Disability Services (2014): I worked with a 23-year-old woman with
cerebral palsy twice a week. I spent the day assisting her with activities that she was unable to do on her
own.
