Madam:

I would like to take the opportunity to apply as a full-time faculty of the Department of
Soil Science in this University since it was announced that there is vacant position in
teaching. I am MYRNA G. PABIONA. I have been an affiliate faculty of the Department of
Soil Science from November 2013 up to the present while I am working as an Agricultural
Technologist of Soil and Plant Analysis Laboratory of the Department of Soil Science in
this University. As an Affiliate Faculty I have learned teaching strategy. This has given me
valuable practical experience of being a responsible, effective and efficient teacher in
handling a class.

More so, as to my experience as a teacher I felt that I have teaching skills, with lots of
patience as well as creative skills. Teaching is not just a profession; it should be utilized as
a powerful way of touching the lives of the children.

I am writing this Letter of Intent signifying my desire to apply from Affiliate faculty to a
full-time faculty member of the said department.

If given the chance, I am hoping that I can help our Department and the University in
acquiring local and international linkages in research to make globally competitive state-
of - the- art laboratory facilities.
