This is a very busy time of year for us at Hugh Beaton so please keep an eye out for announcements coming home with the students, Spring Fling is quickly approaching, and our annual Fun Pair is in the planning stages (see notice on this page). I would also like to congratulate our OFHSA Citizenship Award nominee Kalman C. Grade 6). ‘You represented Hugh Beaton very well but fell just short of winning. Ella H. (Grade 5), and Lukan K. (Grade 7) managed to score better than everyone else in their grade levels to finish first in the province and win the Citizenship Awards! They are invited up to the annual OFHSA conference later this month to receive their awards. Another great job Bulldogs representing not only Hugh Beaton but the GECDSB as well! I would also like at this time to announce this is my last year as our School Council Chair. It has been a pleasure helping the school out from Bingos to Fun Pairs and eventually running meetings for the last 14 years. That being said, we will be looking for a NEW Chair at our Home and School Executive meeting in June.
