Objective : At the end of the lesson pupils will be able to;

1. Replace at least 5 out of 9 words with the Simple Past Tense to complete a
story.

Teaching Aids : Textbook (Pg 93), activity book (Pg 52), word cards

Activity : 1. Charade: Teacher calls out 1 pupils to pick out one word card and acts the
word out. The rest of the class try to guess the verb.

2. Pupils spell the verb and the teacher writes it on the board. The game
continues until all pupils have had chance.

3. Pupils do their work in their activity book (Pg 52).
