MajorDutiesandResponsibilities

Thesuccessfulcandidatewill:
1.Managingdatabaseinfrastructuretomeetperformance,security,highavailabilityandotherrequirements,andtakeproactivemeasureswithsolutionsin
dataminingandanalysis.
2.Managing,monitoringandensuringERPanddatabasesystemarefunctioningsmoothly.
3.Buildingastrongdataandanalyticcompetencytoimproveproductivityandoperationalefficiency.
4.Definingsystembackupandrecoveryprofilesforapplicationsinalignmentwithbusinessrequirementsandensuringsystembackupandrecoveryprocess
areinplace.
5.Troubleshootingdatabaserelatedissues.
6.ProvidingdetaileddocumentationforERPsoftwareandotherapplicationsoftware.
7.CoordinatingandassistingusersinERPsoftwareandotherapplicationsoftware.
8.ConductingrelevantITtraining,knowledgetransfertousers,subordinatesandcolleagues.
9.Liaisingwithsoftwareconsultantforanyproblemsencounteredbytheusersandassistinginanymodificationfortheprogramsdevelopedbythem.
10.Otherresponsibilitiesasassignedbysuperior.

QualificationsandSkillsRequired

Theidealcandidatewillhave:
PossessatleastDiplomainITorComputerScienceorequivalent,withatleast3yearsrelatedworkingexperience,preferablyinmanufacturing
environment.
ProficiencyinusingStructuredQueryLanguage(SQL).
ExperiencedwithdevelopmentusingMicrosoftVisualStudio.
KnowledgeinCrystalReport,HTML,VBScriptandJavaScript.
KnowledgeinERPSoftware.
KnowledgeinAS400/WindowsServer/SQLServer.
Goodtimemanagement,projectmanagement,planning,analytical,troubleshootingandproblemsolvingskills.
Goodinterpersonalskills,goodcollaborationskillsandattitudes.
Willingtoworkindependentlywithminimalsupervision.
Goodmultitaskingskillsandabletoanticipatenumerousassignmentssimultaneouslywhilemaintainingapositiveworkattitude.
