As an experienced student nurse dedicated to the mission of compassionate patient care, I feel that I am an
excellent candidate for the open Nursing Residency program. I'm hard-working, energetic, and highly skilled,
and confident that I am prepared to provide the quality of care that Henry Ford Allegiance is known for.

Beyond my skill in safely administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and bedside care, I am a passionate
advocate for my patients. My comforting approach to educating patients and loved ones about health-related
issues creates a positive environment that lifts patient's spirits, even in challenging circumstances.

My communication and documentation skills are also top-notch. I understand the importance of being clear and
thorough with patients and other medical professionals, am an excellent listener, and perform well under
pressure. I am graduating on May 6th, 2017 from Jackson College with my Associate Degree in Applied Science
-Nursing. My goal is to enroll into a BSN program next spring to further my education. I feel that I would be a
great asset to this facility with having experience in the Emergency Department for my leadership rotation of
67.5 hours. I am looking forward to meeting you in the near future for an interview. My current schedule is
