Context of the lesson

This lesson is the second lesson in unit 8 which is the objects in the sky.
Teaching goals:

The aim of this lesson is to make sure students have understood the moon phases.
Learning objectives:

- To identify moon phases.


- Create moon phases pattern.
Assumptions about prior learning:

- Students know that there is a moon in the sky.


- Students know what is the moon and the objects that in the sky at night time.
Anticipated problems and possible solutions:
- Problem: might be the PowerPoint will not download on teacher computer.
- Solution: I will explain it without PowerPoint.

- Problem: maybe the students will be noisy.


- Solution: I will remind them about the classroom rules and reward system.
Personal focus for this lesson:
- Managing students during explaining the lesson by using a bill and reward system.
