I would rather play tennis than soccer


It is high time I decided for just one sport
If I only had time to play two or more sports
Since I was 10 years old I loved sports. I love to play
tennis and soccer. Actually, I would rather play tennis
than soccer. Now, I am studying at university so I dont
have much time. It is high time I decided to play just
one sport: tennis or soccer. Its hard to find a partner
to play soccer in Trujillo but all the weekends I play
soccer with my friends. If I only had time to play two
or more sports, I would be happy.
Negative idioms:
Cant make an omelet without breaking eggs.
This expression means that it is impossible to
make important changes without causing some
unpleasant effects.
Chickens come home to roost.
This expression means that bad or embarrassing
things done in the past by someone are now
causing problems for that person.
Face the music.
This expression means that you have to accept
the unpleasant consequences of your actions.
Get your fingers burnt.
If someone gets their fingers burnt, they suffer as
a result of an unsuccessful action and are nervous
about trying again.
