18th Annual Community Recognition
and Family Night Dinner - May 19 @ 6:30
New Carlisle Lodge will host a Masonic Family Night, Friday May 19 with
a free dinner at 6:30 p.m. and we cordially invite all to attend. The evening
activities will be devoted to honoring our Ladies, widows of deceased
brethren, presentation of The Community Builders Award to a deserving
resident of our community to show our appreciation for their outstanding
efforts and contributions to our community. We will also recognize
exemplary service by a youth in the Tecumseh, Bethel, and Northwestern
School Districts.
There is no charge for the dinner but reservations are required. Doors
open at 6:00 for a social period, dinner served at 6:30

Stair Chair Lift Project
Your Donations are Needed
The Stair Chair Lift project will cost $12,093.51. Installation will be 2 Bruno
Elite Commercial Building Stair Lifts at the rear of the Temple. One from the
basement to mid floor and one from mid floor to Lodge Room. This will
allow our members and visitors the ability to use the Dinning room in the
basement and the Lodge room upstairs. Over 51% of our Lodge members are
over the age of 70, and many have trouble climbing stairs which limits their
access to our Temple.

The Chair Fund is underway and as
soon as the first $6,000 is raised we
will sign the contract for the
installation of the 2 Stair Chair lifts at
the rear of the Temple.
Other items of discussion will be
replacing shingles on the front part of
the roof and extending the floor at the
rear of the Lodge room to
accommodate the new chair lift.
Our next meeting is May 24 at 7 PM.

1-Day Class
Thanks to everyone who helped with
the 1-Day Class and 2nd Section of the
Master Mason Degree. New Carlisle
Lodge was responsible for the MM
Degree and everyone did a great job.
Welcome our newest New Carlisle
Lodge members; Phillip Brandley,
Gregory Duncan, Zachary Eggleston,
and Randy Ellish, Jr. They received all
three degrees at the 1-Day Class
March 25.
Brother Brandley, three days after
receiving his MM Degree, was
deployed on military duty to
Afghanistan. We pray for his early
and safe return.

Ohio Masonic Home Day is a
day for the whole family to
enjoy. Food venders will open
at 11 am. This year's festivities
will include a parade @ 3:30
p.m.
As part of the 125th Anniversary celebration of the laying of the Cornerstone
of the Bushnell building, we will be having a Cornerstone Rededication
ceremony at 11 a.m. in front of the Castle. Following the ceremony we will
make an attempt to set a record by forming the largest human square and
compasses.
Enjoy Museum Tours, Library Tours, Entertainment Tent, Food and
Beverages, Campus Tours, Craft and Merchant Sales. Rock Climbing Wall,
Childrens Fish Pond Game, Face Painting, Art Display and Sale.

Freemasonry has withstood may changes throughout it's history
including the shock of nations and revolutions of the ages, the
hatred of misguided and misinformed men, but still continues to
live on in this world of turmoil and disintegration.
Yet, if we are true to the commitments we have made it can
and will remain a force for good; scepters will pass away,
thrones crumble, kingdoms fall, but the Masonic fabric will
continue to stand-if men will just remain true to their vows, Are
we up to the task of withstanding the forces of evil that surround
us in the world today? The answer lies in the hearts of each who
have knelt at the altar and assumed the vows of Freemasonry!
Chapter/Council election of Officers will be held at the May 16,
2017 stated meeting. We invite the companions of the Chapter
and Council to attend and support your officers.
