PATRICK OKORO JP

Patrick has a bachelors degree in Business Administration

from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Patrick has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas sector
occupying various positions from Production Engineer,
Mechanical Engineer, Field Operations Manager to the
position of Administration Manager before retiring from Total
Exploration and Production Nigeria.

Patrick is the Managing Director of AEL Energy services, a

position he has been putting in all his years of experience into.
 GENERAL MANAGER PROJECTS
EKWERE PETERS

Ekwere has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the

University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria.

Ekwere has about 8 years experience in the power sector working in

the areas of generation, transmission and operations management.
Ekwere worked as a Project Mechanical Engineer on the Trans Amadi
Power Project and as the Mechanical Superintendent on the Alaoji
Combined Cycle Power Project with Rockson Engineering. He worked
with SIEMENS/SDEM on the Geregu Phase II Power Project as the
Project Manager for Piping and Balance of Plant Installation before
joining AEL Energy Services as the General Manager Project .

Ekwere is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and a

PRINCE 2 certified Project Manager. Ekweres area of expertise covers
Mechanical Installations and Project Management.
 PROJECT MANAGER
SAMMY EYEREGBA
Sammy has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from
the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria and a Masters degree in
Petroleum Engineering and Project Development from French
Petroleum Institute, France.
He has worked on a Project Planning Engineer on the Alaoji and
Geregu Phase II Power Projects in Nigeria. He also worked for
Shell Nigeria as a Project Engineer on the Southern Swamp
Associated Gas Gathering Project before joining AEL Energy
Services as Project Manager.
Sammy is a certified PRINCE 2 Project Practioner, a certified
British Project Professional, a certified Nigerian Planner and a
member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
 PRODUCTION MANAGER
ENGR. ABUBAKAR GARUBA
Abubakar has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
from the Ambrose Alli University, Nigeria.
Abu has worked on a number of power projects in Nigeria
covering the areas of generation, distribution, operations and
maintenance. He worked as a Design Mechanical Engineer for
OTIS on the NIPP Projects and as a Mechanical Operations
Engineer on the Olorosogbo Combined Cycle Power Project
before joining AEL Energy Services as its Production Manager.

Abu is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.

 CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
ENGR. TONY OBI

Tony has a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University

of Benin, Nigeria.

Tony has 8 years experience in the power sector working in the areas
of generation, transmission and distribution. Tony was a Project Civil
Engineer on the Trans Amadi Power Project, Alaoji Combined Cycle
Power Project and rose to the position of a Site Manager on the
Oginigba and Owerri Sub-station projects all in Nigeria before joining
AEL Energy Services as the Construction Manager .

Tony is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Nigerian

Institute of Management and British Project Management Society,
Nigeria.
 ELECTRICAL MANAGER
ENGR. CHUMA MBONU

Chuma has a Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from

the Nassarawa State Polytechnic, Nigeria.

Chuma has over 10 years experience in the power sector working in

the areas of generation, transmission and distribution. Chuma
worked as a Project Electrical Engineer on the Trans Amadi Power
Project, Alaoji Combined Cycle Power Project, Alaoji 330KV
Substation and Switchyard and rose to the position of a Site Manager
for the Owerri 330/132/33KV Sub-station projects all in Nigeria
before joining AEL Energy Services as the Electrical Manager .

Chuma is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. Chumas

area of expertise covers Electrical Installations, maintenance and
operation.
 BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
JEROME OKOYE

Jerome has a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics

Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University and a Masters in
Power Systems from the University of Lagos.

Jerome has about 10 years experience in the power sector working in

the areas of generation, transmission and business development.
Jerome worked as a Project Engineer with Solar Energy on the
development of renewable energy in Nigeria. He later worked for
Zuma Energy as a Senior Electrical Engineer for the development of
coal fired plants in Kogi and Imo States in Nigeria. Jerome joined
Alstom Nigeria as the Sales and Tendering Manager, a position he was
on for about 3 years before joining AEL Energy Services as the
Business Development Manager.
 SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
OVO IKOKO

Ovo has a Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering from

the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Ovo has 5 years
experience covering the areas of procurement, business
development and HSE before joining the AEL Team as the
Business Development & Procurement Manager.

Ovo is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.

Ovos area of expertise covers procurement and business

development.
 HSE MANAGER
TONY OKORO
Tony has a bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering
from the University of Port Harcourt in Nigeria.

Tony has over 10 years experience working in various

capacities from a HSE Officer to a HSE Advisor before
joining AEL Energy Services as the HSE Manager. Prior to
joining AEL, Tony worked as the HSE Advisor for Adano
Engineering Company on the Shell Ughelli Tank
Rehabilitation Project. Tony has delivered a good number
of projects as a HSE Officer.
