GENERAL LESSON PLANNING FORMAT

Student teachers are required to plan learning-experiences linked to specific learning outcomes, using a variety of different
instructional approaches. While many experienced teachers may not complete full lesson plans for all classes taught, this IS A
REQUIREMENT for student teachers. Two possible formats are provided here, but student teachers are encouraged to discuss
lesson planning formats with their Associate Teachers /Associate Teachers and adjust formats to suit the class level and
expectations.

How will you ensure that new learning is consolidated, new ideas synthesised, key themes reinforced?
What authentic demonstrations are required to illustrate that learners understand new concepts, learning new skills,

emerging factors?
Based on your reflections on this lessons effectiveness, what learning experiences and expectations should be included
